The fashion in japan is often exccentric !!
The fruits, the decora, kogals, yamamba and many other !!
What is your favorite style ??!

For me, it's the decora !! This girls have many clothes, with fruity and frech colors !
I have making a picture from photoshop, it's the banner of my french forum : http://img48.imageshack.us/img48/3536/fruitypeachmf8.jpg
(Sorry for my horrible english i have only 12 years old and i'm french >__<)

I love so much the goth loli too !! At Paris, Baby the stars shine bright have open a store in my quarter.

I am not a fan of modern Japanese fashion, it's just so nuts. Ganguro (or Yamamba) make a girl looks so ridiculous, often looks like Katie Price *shudders*. Kogal is so annoying, cuz that's also one of the best fashion statements in the world. Bosozoku is alright though, but I only like the apparel though, not street-racing those kind of things. I dislike lolitas (Goth,Punk, Sweet, Elegant aristrocrat) cuz it's just so typical and suitable for emo-rockers (not trying to heighten any discrimination, so please don't look at my statement as if I impose my real hatred over lolita fashion). I rather just wear casual clothing (modern or vintage) if I visit Japan. And I rather prefer traditional Japanese clothing--- kimono, hakama, yukata--- they are way beautiful and comfortable to wear than those modern Japanese fashion.

That banner is pretty cool. It's almost like a rainbow with all those colors. >.<`
My cousin and a few of her friends dressed like this one time for school just for fun.
They dug up all the colorful shirts and pants they had, and mixed them around for an outfit to wear the next day.
My aunt has a few pictures of them, and they're so cute!
Not the best trend for fashion in my taste, but I think it's really eccentric and exciting to see. I don't hate it at all.

I dunno~ I've been told the japanese are very stylish. but we had a japanese exchange student living in my house and he only had a few sets of clothes, and he wore the same pants for two weeks at a time.

I guess while they do have very interesting styles, not all of them are inclined to the fashion (or have any sense of fashion at all, as evident in my japanese companion). just like some folks here in america, eh?

I like their hairstyles. I wonder if they can pull em off without gel, though, for the guys.

Putting aside decora, uniforms, and anything flashy for that matter,
I think Japanese style is very sophisticated. If you think
about how the typical modern day working-Japanese citizen dresses,
it's really cute. >3>

Buuuut~! I do love decora, it's a lot of fun.

i like the lolita's look but only the gothic and aristocratic looks because i'm a goth and i also like some of the old world looks. i like how lolita inputs a little of the old world with some of the modern world looks. or at least that is how i would wear them. i like ecentric things or stuff not normal. i personally think that normal is boring ir not a little weird because for normal everyone is wearing the same thing almost or a knock off of it. where is those whom are different where what ever most of the time. if not all the time.

i do love the kimono's and yukata's and hakama and haori's because they are more beautiful and cofortable as well. i wish i had one.

hope to have a great time here. i love anime!Photobucket
