maybe this doesn't belong in this board... Gendou sent out an email to everybody with a forum account (i think) mentioning two features he was thinking of implementing: bitrate info and reviews for songs. I think that bitrate info is probably not a concern for almost anyone, so I wouldn't bother to include it. If it isn't much extra work to implement it would be a nice feature. Song reviewing is a much better idea. However you are likely to get a bunch of crappy reviews (like this: "D00d this song blowz0rz, it sounds like a toilet flushing LOLOLOL!!") So, you should make a dedicated Review Board (ala OCRemix [www.ocremix.org]) where people can post their thoughts on songs and stupid people can have their posts easily deleted. The alternative is to invite people to write reviews and email them in to you (you=Gendou) for acceptance or rejection. P.S. if you do let people review songs, it would be great if a link on the song list page could take them right to the reviews for a particular song. |
