Where you do go to get away?

Where does everyone like to go to get away from the pressure of life? You closet, with friends, on the net? Me personally, I don't know why, but I am attrached to the Botanical Gardens around here and just head straight for the Japanese Garden. It is just so beautiful, so peaceful, so quiet. I'll just take my MP3 loaded up with soft songs and maybe a few books, or even a couple of books from school, and just stay put there until closing.

I go to the virgin mary statue,in our backyard,and just sit on the step and think,noone goes to the back so it's mostly quiet,except for the sounds the birds make.I sometimes fall asleep on the step,I get sleepy when i'm there,I don't know why I do.

| For me I would go to a park but my place doesnt have a good one so cansel that and I would I to a Botanical garden if I had one in the area but I dont either. I love nature. Since neither of this are possible I swith to the alternative of hearing anime songs downloaded from Gendou.com of course. Watching anime has the same effect too. Well this is how I cool down when I am under stress. If none of this methods are ineffective then I will sleep. I will definately cool down this way. |

Just my room. Play my PS2, put in an anime DVD, listen to anime cds, whatever.

hmm... I normally just go for a stroll or something in a park nearby. If possible, I go to the seaside. Sound of waves are super relaxing. But more often, I just go on my comp and listen to mp3s. wahaha... If I get frustrated, I scream, out into the window of a dark room. Though that normally get some angry protests from neighbours, which is quite a lot, cos in Singapore here, we live in high rise flats... so there's quite a lot ppl around you... -dotz-

i goto my room, laydown on my bed, close my eyes, and invision what it would be like to die. i am always wondering about death. where do you go when you die i say to myself. i have always been told about what happens when you die but not where do you go. i have heard fairytales about heaven and wonder what it might be like. i try in my head to picture the golden gates of heaven. beautiful are my dreams of night. you try so very hard to deal with the burdens of life but it just gets to you. i have always wondered where your soul goes after your human shell ceases? does it float endlessly for eternity or do you start a new life hear on earth? 2nd life as it where. you go to an everyday church and hear the words of a preacher. you wonder is he for real or just an act. you try so very hard to understand, even read a few pages of the bible. then you look for answers, answers that are hard to find. many people around me, tell me that if you pray the answers "will come to you." then you dont know what to believe after you have prayed. you still believe. "the answers many people say will come to you". well my question is when? when will i recieve my answers. maybe im being too selfish. maybe the answers will come to me. maybe the answers have already came to me and i was too blind to see them. 
The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.

Try this. On sunny day go out to the closest park and lay down under a tall tree. Bring a soft cushion or bookbag soft enough to put it behind your head and listen to the air and look between the branches. Breath deeply in and out and think about happy thoughts or just let your life flow! I love to listen to soft anime songs also I like to listen to Elfen Lied opening theme song while i lay down. On Rainy day, I always go to my room and hang by the window and I stare at people or look at the life flow. I might feel depressed somedays but I always loved to look at people's lives or watch the people's daily lives through the window.
I live anime. Do you anime?

| I usually find that a I can get away when writting. I can sit down and clear my mind leaving my troubles, pains and emotions, on the paper. It is a simple way to relieve stress and let things go for me. |

| I usually hang around in the living room and play some games. When I get ticked off, I just play whatever violent game I got and just duke it out. I imagine that the enemies were bullies that used to pick on me when I play shooting games and I imagine fighting my dad in fighting games. I guess you can say I lived a messed-up life with those inner demons. Some of you guys probably feel the same way. |

I'd like to think that I'm not the stereotypical teenager who spends all their time held up in their room-- really, I'd love that. But it'd be a lie. My room is my personal getaway, mainly on my bed, staring up at the ceiling at nothing, singing, drawing. Nothing is more relaxing than drawing a (sadly, mediocre ;__;) picture and humming one of my favorite songs to myself. Nothing and nobody can get to me then. It's kind of like the music drowns out the stress, in a way. You should try it, if it isn't already a routine thing for you. |

I go online, listening to music, reading a good romance/horror novel &/or watching tv in my room; swim in my yard in the afternoon until later at night; go walking in the woods(but it's not safe being alone so thats normally out of the question, b/c I'm the only one whjo likes walking & no talking).
Never date a guy stranger than you. If so, make sure he's loaded.

I actually go to the library and ask the librian for a privite room so i can read and listen to music to chill out O.O

Imagining things... lol And write fanfic. I also like to listen to anime music with headphones at volume max. And my latest hobby is... anime music karaoke, put your soul into it... lol but I always make sure nobody is around. All of those things are done in my room.

| I'm kind of one of the outdoor guys sometimes I go sit on top of a mountain and watch the sunset(live near mountains)and take a nap or draw. |

| I'd have to say I pick up my mp3 player and go for a run whenever I have to clear my head or I go to the practice field and just take a load off. Most of the time I'll just go out onto my roof and sit for hours. Music is a must when getting away from things, atleast for me it is. |

I go to my room, lock the door and hug my pillows. I have a a lot of Winnie the Pooh plushies and I sometimes throw them around when I get frustrated or angry. I try to throw them at Ranger only all he ever does when I do that is to yell at me to stop flinging pooh around the house. That and the hugs I get usually calm me down. Ranger has never forced our door open when I have locked it. He has always waited unitl I release the catch. I have also never made him sleep on the couch if you were wondering. If I want to go outside there is a natural pile of boulders and rocks on our property about 25ft high. I go up there and sit and look at the mountains and the desert floor below or at the sky at night. There is also a place on the sand dunes I like to go. From there I can see everywhere and no one can come near.  |
