Japanese writing

| I think there are 3 writing ( kanji and the two others phonetics) but i always wonder which oe is the most use for exemple in japanese newspapers on original manga, or some jap web site |

| Heh, I take a japanese class...The types of writing are called Kanji, Katakana, and Hiragana. Hiragana is the one most seen. Hiragana are the basic symbols, and Katakana are used for names, and foreign words. For instance, if you had the name Oscar...it would be Osukaa, in Katakana, not Hiragana. There are 40 something Hiragana and 40 something Katakana. They have the same amount though. Kanji is just used to shorten stoof, and there are well over 2000 (I think). |
