ok, so the original version had some mistakes that i, hopefully, fixed it in this new thread... feel free to PM me a message regarding this RP PLOT You wake up to find yourself in a white, padded room with no doors, just a reflected window with the words, “MASTER OF GOD?†written in what appears to be blood. Confused and disorientated, you try to recollect anything that would bring you to this situation, but nothing pops up. As a matter of fact, nothing can. You have no memory of how you got there or who you are. Frightened, you stagger upward only to find that your arms are bounded together by a straight jacket. Sitting up in your place, you see that the wording on the reflected window has changed. It read, “LOOK BEHIND YOU…†Feeling curiosity rather than fear, you quickly spun around to see a television set with a VCR placed atop of it. Turning around you see the writing on the reflected window changed once again into, “IF GOD GAVE YOU HIS HANDS, WOULD YOU USE THEM?†As if you were exchanging thoughts with an invisible force, you shake your head, instinctively. Then the sound of static ruptured the eerie quietness. Turning around, you find out that the television set had turned on and an arrangement of seven video tapes lay before you, labeled with the numbers one through seven. Your thoughts race and you begin to think, how exactly am I going to work this thing if I can’t use my hands? Bizarrely, you suddenly appear with no shirt on and your hands and arms are free. Amusement ran through your lips. Turning around to “speak†with the reflected window, the wording changed and it said, “POP IN # 1†Following it's orders, you push in the video tape labeled, "#1" , into the VCR and you push play... --------------------- Rules: the "main" main character's looks:  *both resembles L from DeathNote, *but no relation to anime or movie whatsoever looks dont really matter, but L is sooo awesome :P ° follow Gendou's FAQ on RP'ing ° you are the main character, and you are given god's powers, do virtually anything to save the people/person that is in the tape ° and control ABSOLUTELY everything, once again, you are given god's powers (that is really important ^-^) ° miracles can happen, but expect anything to come out of them... (we all cant have happy endings!) ° novel/ script style RP ° casting is free to anyone, as long as it doesn't have any conflict with the story or the main character (in short, im not limiting the character listings!) ° when making characters, make sure to place name, gender, age, etc. but the most important thing is that you describe their relation to the plot ° the man in the white, padded room is the main character of the whole plot, and s/he cannot be changed, however, there are different main characters in tapes, and the man simply "looks over them" ° anything can happen in the tapes, so feel free to do whatever in the tapes! ° once again, you're god, you can move, create, destroy, "glitch", cause monkeys to spontaneously explode, cause natural disasters on a biblical proportion, and what not? be creative :P ° the tapes main character must have a problem to solve about themselves, so the character must have a human related problem that ultimately leads them to the brink of suicide... ° have fun! Much better, but I think you could have just modified your old RP. :S Oh well. I guess I will be the first to join! Name: Kaze Age: 21 Sex: Male Appearance:  Bio: Just a regular 21 year old living in Tokyo alone. He struggles by with two jobs and hopes to get into a decent college, but unfortunately isn't wealthy enough. His parents died when he was young, and he grew up in the care of his uncle, who now lives over seas. His only brother was separated from him, and the last he heard, he was in an asylum for commiting several crimes. He recently went through a rough break-up with his girlfriend of two years. He comes home late from work one night, and finds an eviction notice on his apartment door. I'll start right now I suppose ~__^ ------------- Kaze stands on top of the highest-reaching skyscraper that he could find. His feet shuffle towards the ledge, and he peers down fearfully. He can see hundreds of cars lighting up the night with their headlights and streetlamps shining over people on their way home. Though it is past eleven o'clock, Tokyo is still crowded and busy. He closes his eyes and turns his head away in thought. There is no going back once I drop. This is the long-term solution to a short-term problem. Is this really my final choice? He clutches his chest and opens his eyes. Taking a deep breath, he lets his foot hang a few inches off of the ledge. He trys to push himself off with it, but hesitates. Something inside of him protests his actions. He freezes up, and remains there, staring down at the world. I'm going to end it all. Everything I've ever done is a waste. I am a waste of a life. He leans further to plummet to the ground.  |

NOTE! casting is still open for support character in tape No. 1, and one slight adjustment of rules, from now on, i'll be the one in the white, padded room (just so nothing out of line happens) *scene returning back to the white, padded room* Looking at the television screen, you look, at Kaze's body race down the towering skyscraper, like a droplet from a leaf. you look at Kaze in a sense of pity as you see the human mind as a frail object. But too absorbed in your thoughts, you seem to forget that Kaze is free falling to his death, but its too late. The screams and anguished sounds of the walking pedestrians seem to shatter your sense of thought as you scramble to put the VCR on pause. "whoopsy..." you suddenly hear a banging from behind you. It was the mirrored window. It read, "WOW, PUSH REWIND AND THINK!" Following its orders, you push the rewind button and you stop the tape where Kaze is somewhere about ten feet off the ground. automatically you think, big, gigantic pillow, and a popping sound came from the television set. A big, puffy plush doll of Kira [DN REFERENCE :p] randomly appears right underneath Kaze. Satisfied, you push the play button to see what happens... I'm going to end it all. Everything I've ever done is a waste. I am a waste of a life. He leans further to plummet to the ground. Flailing his limbs as he nears his death, Kaze hears pedestrians below him scream, and finds himself screaming too. The wind rips through his hair and clothing, stabbing at his skin. Tears are pulled from his eyes, and he manages to close them tightly. He stretches out his arms, preparing to smash into the cold concrete. He gasps and the breath is taken from his lungs. Just before the moment of contact, he hits a large fluffy object and bounces slightly. Muffled in the giant mass of feathers, he blacks out. People all around him rush in and check to see if he is alive. OOC: What happens after our tape is played? How does the story come together after that? Or do these characters just... kind of not mean anything XD |

*THE TAPES ARENT JUST OVER YET! What do you think will become of Kaze after this near death experience? come on, that be a waste of a tape if it didnt continue!* A bitter silence enveloped Kaze's mind. He was in a meditative state as he felt his body drifted from a blank point of a void. Then, a buzzing came from far off his mind. It slowly grew louder and louder, until it became a distinctive siren sound. Irritated, he opens his eyes to see a man is placing an oxygen mask over his face. His entire body felt numb and he couldnt move anything. Closing his eyes again, he drifts back to sleep, only to be waken up by the soft sound of birds chirping. The only thing he sees is the white, square tiles of the ceiling. Turning his head, he looks out a window that gives a view of a playground with kids playing in it... *NOTE! just because i feel like giving it away, Kaze is taken to the nearest client, which is a children's hospital, if you havent noticed* CASTING IS STILL OPEN FOR THIS TAPE!!! Support Character for Tape No. 1 Name: Ryou Age: 21 Sex: Male Appearance: Short spiky black hair, brown eyes Bio: Just a regular 21 year old living in Tokyo alone. He is a friend of Kaze and is attending a good college. He found out about Kaze's eviction when he saw the notice on his door when he went to visit. ~~~ ~Ryou's Apartment~ Today was the first of a week break from college. Ryou was sitting in his apartment and watching television. One of the shows he was following just finished, so he was changing channels to look for something else to watch. "There has to be something to watch at this time...Come on." Ryou looked through all the channels of his interest and found nothing, just a few reruns. He decided to check out the news. He went to a news channel. The weather forecast played. "Looks like it'll rain tomorrow..yay..." A accident played after the weather. Kaze's picture appeared on the screen. Ryou quickly looked closer, he looked surprised. "Thats Kaze..Come on, say which hospital he is in." The news reporter said the hospital Kaze was in. Ryou immediately got up, turned off the television and got his keys. He quickly left his apartment building, not bothering to lock his door. He stopped a cab and got in. He told the driver where to go. "Please hurry, my friend is in the hospital. The one on the news." The cab drove as fast as the speed limit allowed. ~Children's Hospital~ The cab eventually arrived and paid the driver then got out. The cab drives out of view as Ryou entered the hospital. He quickly asked which room Kaze was in. He rushed into to the room, to see Kaze looking out of the window. "Kaze, i'm relieved you're alright. I came as soon as i heard."

Name: Hime Age:30 Sex:Female Appearance:  Bio: She's a doctor, divorced with two sons. She's very close to her younger sister they communicate once in a while. the last time she heard a news of her sister is that she broke up with her boyfriend. Her boyfriend is now in an asylum for some reasons she didn't know.. ********************************************************************************* Hime went inside the room, she saw the patient and looking in the window at the playground outside....another person in the room, his friend perhaps... Hime thought:(hmmm... another case of suicide....) Hime went to the patient and smile at the two of them.. Hime: so, how are you feeling now? ******************************************************************************* Is that fine shin..?   |

okiez, okiez, 2 brand new pplz, i can handle this... and this is not exactly perfect, but its 89% satisfactory :P **************************************************** note the fact when i say "me", "I", or "my," that refers to the person in the white, padded room **************************************************** *back to the white, padded room* Me: hmmm, these 2 people, seem...useful, "Interesting..." ~a banging from behind, I turn around to see its the reflected mirror ~Written in Blood on the Window: "INSTANT LOVE LIPSTICK, SIR?" ~and just like that, a full stick of lipstick happened in my hands, and I push "Pause" Me: "hmmm, a little love never hurt," ~ I draw a heart around Hime and crossed out Kaze with the sticky, pink substance, but I drew a stick figure because i got side track and a flash blinded me from the screen. The substance was quickly absorbed into the television set and then I pushed "Play.." *Children's Hospital* ~Hime:"so, how are you feeling now?" ~right after Hime said that, a young, teenaged girl walked through the door and fully embraced Kaze "To bring you back into this world I’d break every rule Machines try to take me to hell I don’t really care I do it for love" dolly - HYDE <--- [ Naruto: Shippuden | NecroCircus ] ---> |

Ryou: "Kaze, i'm relieved you're alright. I came as soon as i heard." Kaze turns from the window and looks at the doorway, seeing somebody standing there. He shields his eyes with an arm and trys to get his eyes to focus on the indoor light. "R-Ryou!" He trys to get up but becomes dizzy. He clutches his bandaged forehead and slumps back onto the bed. Just then a female doctor walks into the room. Hime: so, how are you feeling now? Kaze massages his head and nods at the doctor. "My head aches." He closes his eyes in pain and grits his teeth. No sooner had the doctor entered the room, then a young woman runs in and throws her arms around Kaze. He falls onto the bed again under her wait and from the momentum of her jump. |

Name: Hiraku Gender: Male Age: 27 Description: A young aspiring physiologist taking a special interest in the case of Kaze after hearing about the incident. 5'9'', longer brown hair, green eyes, dressed nicer but still somewhat formal. He has a felling this case may be able to push him further in the field due to a felling of the background of the incident. (Push the patience, shall we?) As Kaze recollects his thoughts after the attack of affection and Ryou stands there dumbfounded, a young man, late twenties enters the door frame of the room. Hiraku: You know, I doubt that'll help that much. Might just shake him up even more than he already is. The others turn towards him as Kiraku gazes out the window, watching the children playing happily... Hiraku: Name is Kiraku, I'm a doctor in the field of psychology, and I'm looking for you, Kaze. (lol, first real RP here. Hope I got it right. ;p )

sorry, i havent been RPing lately! i just got finished watching like five awesome movies ********************** Hiraku: *smiles to all and then looks at Kaze and the girl holding him, "Ah, who is this young lady, Kaze? Its nice to have someone in your gasp, is it not, Kaze?" Kaze: *he just held a gaze at the young girl, and says, "Ummm, yeah, but I have no idea who you are, lady!" *Back to the White, Padded Room* Me: "Ummm, is that the stick figure chick i drew!?" ~ a banging tore my attention from the television set, it was the Mirrored Window ~ it wrote "REMEMBER YOU POWERS..." Me: "Ok, then she's gonna need a name. How about... Taikou And i guess you need filler memories of Kaze, too. HA! Me making a love story about a suicidal kid, and some being created from a drawing of lipstick!? How absurd, but just as absurd as me in this place..." ~Through a hard flow of concentration, I summoned every little detail of memories that would make Kaze seem like he knew Taikou since she was a child, and the same for her *Back to the Children's Hospital* Kaze: ~ a teardrop fell from his eyes, as he said, "Taikou... I'm sorry..." and he embraces Taikou right back, wincing in pain Hime: ~she seems a little disappointed to see that Kaze is already in a relationship as she shouts, "Hey! Careful Now! you dont want anymore bruises do you?" Hiraku: Name is Kiraku, I'm a doctor in the field of psychology, and I'm looking for you, Kaze. Kaze points to his chest quizzitively. "Me? What did I do... other than..." He starts to blush and looks at the ground. Hiraku: *smiles to all and then looks at Kaze and the girl holding him, "Ah, who is this young lady, Kaze? Hiraku: Yes, mere bruises may be trivial, yet they are better than lying flat, dead on the sidewalk. Kaze: *releasing Taikou* How would you know?! Hiraku: Death. It should be saved until the very end. But look here, you have friends, one good one I might add *with a light chuckle*. Why end it when there was no end? Kaze: ... Hiraku: I understand that this may seem too much to handle for now. I'll leave my card here. *places card on a table near the door* When you get out, or if you need me for something, all the numbers are there. For now, see ya. *Hiraku leaves, leaving the others in a moment of silence*

yeah, after a long month of tragedies and mishaps that seem to follow me every where i go, i ve finally found time to RP this and hopefully try to revive this dead thread... -------------------------- ~After several days of comtemplation pass, Kaze recovers from most of his injuries and is leaving the hospital~ *Taikou is wheeling Kaze out the front door with Ryou at their side* *Hime and Hiraku way good bye* ~a drilling silence looms over the three friends~ Kaze, Ryou, Taikou: ~feeling a little uncomfortible~, "..." ~Back to the White, Padded room~ Me: "God, this is getting boring! ...Hmmm, I wonder how a 10,000 yen bill(equivalent to $100) on the ground will change things..." Me: *Taking pure concentration, I channel all my thought in to a shape of a yen bill on the ground right next to Kaze's feet* ~City Sidewalk, Returning to Kaze, Ryou, Taikou~ Kaze: "... Hey, look," ~they all look down to find the 10000 yen bill~ All: "WOW!" ~Cutscene to an ice cream parlor~ "To bring you back into this world I’d break every rule Machines try to take me to hell I don’t really care I do it for love" dolly - HYDE <--- [ Naruto: Shippuden | NecroCircus ] ---> |

*pretty interesting rp dude...quite original if i may say so... and id like to join if i may"* supporting character#4 name: Kouga Minase age:25 bio: a childhood friend of kaze maybe more of a bully...he hated kaze for some reason as if the very existence of that man annoys him and drives him mad he bears a grudge on kaze for some unknown reason. he bullied kaze ever since the day they met. he also was the reason kaze broke up with his girl friend 3 years ago ~ice cream parlor~ kouga and misuzu(kaze's Ex girlfriend) can be seen enjoying their meal in near the window when misuzu spotted kaze as he enters the parlor "kaze! my gosh how are you? ive heard about the news...*silent pause* are you alright?" misuzu inquired "*cough* emo*cough*emo-" kouga teased "stop it kouga" misuzu saidas she taps his shoulder "but look at him...he cant even kill himself right!hahaha" he laughed |
