More commenly refferd to as "AX", yes i'll be going! It's gonna be a blast. This year will feature, the usual AMV competition, Summer Fest, the Exhabition hall (bigger every year), viewing rooms, a concert by MAAYA SAKAMOTO!!! WOOHOO!, a 24 hour manga library, and tons of cool panels! It's gonna be great, I'm cosplaying this year as well! If you want more info do a google search for "Anime Expo 2005" they have an official site with lots of info, but I dont remember the URL

I'm going too... although I'm not cosplaying. Anyone went last year? Did ya see the Yoko Ishida concert, it was pretty fun. I cant wait for maaya sakamoto, I'm a fan as well! I'm excited to see the Matsuri Festival. :D |

Man, the maaya concert is gonna take forever for lineups. Seriously, people are gonna wait there for a good 2-6 hours before startup. Just like it always is. One thing I hate about AnimeExpo is how they post their guests at THE VERY LAST MINUTE. And by some odd coincidence, they're all brought to us by Pioneer (excuse me, i meant to say Geneon Entertainment =P). Yea, seriously, it's getting ridiculous that the Big Five in Anime (Bandai, ADV, VIZ, Funanimation, and of course Pioneer) literally buy the whole convention for themselves. Hopefully, I want this convention to be a little more fan oriented, but after reading the behavior policy on their main site, that doesn't seem likely. *sighs* ah well, at least Tomazaku Seki and Nishimura kicked ass as i predicted they would last year. Maaya's gonna be my new goddess that I'll worship in my room after this AX ^_^.
