Download speed cap?

I came back from an away week-end and found that instead of downloading at 300kb/s like I usualy do, I am now downloading at 30kb/s. I double checked by calling a friend of mine and we downloaded the same song at the same time. On his end everything checked out fine. So I figured you guys are punishing me by giving me a speed cap. Is my reasoning plausible? If so, I appoligize for any incovenience and I am wondering if there is a way to fix this. Taiho EDIT*since replying was locked: I have tryed using both Firefox and IE.. this 30kb/s always apply. and NEVER used to happen... what are possible cause of this?  |

Most likely, you were having trouble on your end, such as something going on. Another reason could be that you tried at a busy time. I don't think Gendou does speed caps anyways, at least I've never heard of such a case.

the episodes page does use speed caps, as is clearly stated on the download page. the music page does not, but 300k/s bandwidth may sometimes be unavailable.
