Hi all! My name's Ron (electrcblu). I'm from St. Louis, MO USA, and I've been a member of this site for some time, but have not introduced myself yet. I have a feeling I'm an "old man" (at 42)compared to most of you here, but I've only recently begun to appreciate anime music and shows over the last 2-3 years (I got tired of all the same old, same old... on "regular" TV and movies). I have a daughter (age 10) who I've introduced anime to and there's no going back for her...she's hooked as well!

Dragonfly, domo for the welcome! I think I should have said "older man", instead of "old man" in my original post! :) I don't feel old, especially with two young kids (age 8 and 10) that keep me running around! :D You're absolutely right in that it is never too late to learn anything new. I've passed my love of anime shows and music on to my daughter. My son (age 8) still only likes the Pokemon type of anime, but maybe he will come around later. :) Anyway, I hope to see you in the forums too. C'ya. |
