I'm assuming you're running Windows XP Home/Pro, and this is your home PC? If you go under Start|Control Panel|Users, and you should be seeing your account listed as a computer administrator... If not, then for some reason you were not set up that way on your PC... If that's the case, then you need the administrator's password to simply "make" your account an administrator, though most companies like Dell, Compaq/HP, etc... seem to make the owner of the PC an administrator during setup, so it's strange that you are not already administrator. The only case I can think of where you would not be administrator is if someone set up your PC for you and wanted to be certain they still had a way to modify system settings if something should be messed up...

Hope that at least gives you something to go on and somewhere to start looking...

well, it's my home PC, my account is listed as a Computer Administrator and that's the only Administrator user I haf in the whole system. I guess I should just reboot my computer but that will delete ALL my stuffs which I may need to make numbers of backup CDs cuz my computer is loaded with lots of things.

Try install that software in safemode (press F8 while you're booting).
If that's not working then shame of you. What have you done to your computer ;)

Life cannot be separate with if, then, else.
