Sad non-Japanese songs

I'm looking for some sad anime songs but not Japanese, maybe English or other languages. Does anyone has a suggestion?? lol it musn't be too sad but somewhat soft and calm ^^ For example, Pearls (Cowboy Bebop) and If Dreams Came True (AIR)

Hmm.. Try Steve Conte, or Scott Matthew :3
I don't know if their songs are so sad, but at least they are good o.O

For English, yeah, Steve Conte is really good. Try Heaven's Not Enough ^^ Maaya Sakamoto's 'Gravity' is also a really good song in English, and she and Steve did a duet called 'The Garden of Everything' that's REALLY good.

Also, 'Bratja' from Fullmetal Alchemist is a really famous and really sad ballad in Russian. Even my dad likes it :P

The opening theme of Elfen Lied is 'Lilium', and it's sung by a Japanese opera singer in Latin. It's fraught with mistakes, spotted by those Latin students, but it's one of the saddest songs I've ever heard.

"When she loved me" from Toy Story 2 when Jessie the Cowgirl gets a flashback
sad and depressing when you lost a friend or something. T_T

Try look up Karma Police by Radiohead... and Trying Your Luck by the Strokes

I like emotion expressed through subtlety because it feels more genuine... these two songs left me in awe
