This is partly(mostly) based off of the book I've read, Midnighters. If anything, I'm going to state my rules first. My past RPs, I have been lenient, see what will form, I hated to see how off track they have become. If you're going to join, make sure you're not going to leave. Second, I much. Just ‘So so when toward the door and said "Goodnight."' If you can't PM it, try to keep OOC posts to a minimum. No excessive drama and bringing out creatures out of nowhere without speaking to me first. You can only have ONE power. No God modding, if I see it, I will warn you. Continue, your behind is mine. If you have finished reading the rules, please continue on with the story. If you have just moved into the area, there’s a very good chance that you may not know about the midnight hour since it only happens in certain places. All powers that have been taken will be crossed out. I'm looking for long term players also. No few posts and leave. _____________________________________________ Have you ever wished there was more hours in the day? Just, what if, there was but you have to be born at a certain time to have it? Long ago, creatures that haunted human nightmares roamed across the land until humans started fighting back. Forced to save their species they created a special hour just for they could survive. Most humans, this time flash by, but for special people, they can live in this hour. If you were born at 12:00 A.M., you can see this time, disregarding daylight-saving time. Also, you receive special powers. Some may work during daylight times, other during that special time. During this time, all electronics ceases to work and the darkling start to hunt. Special words, those with thirteen letters or multiples of thirteen in them along with steel or any alloy metal can destroy these monsters. Any source of artificial light can destroy them also. However, say a word with twelve letters or multiple of twelve. You will give them the advantage over you. The thirteen letter words can be used only a few times. Also, any ‘clean’ metal you use can be used, at the most, seven times. Very few people who about this time, those who do call themselves midnighters. ____________________________________________________________ Powers: also transfer their own, more often. It takes a while for them to gain control over their powers completely. anything that's related to the Hour. (Optional) During daylight hours, their sight is horrible without glasses. Only a few things they can see clearly, the midnighters and whatever was touched during the midnight hours. Healer: Has the ability to heal and/or draining people of their energy. Sometimes this can be at the cost of their own energy. _________________________ Part One: The Gathering Slowly the darklings and slithers have been gathering, as if there was a certain event happening. Usually the midnighters and darklings can get along without no major conflict. Absent minded with a few moments of genius. Generally have motives of getting her way, sometimes through deceptive ways. Has an avoidance to touching or being in close contacts with people. She prefers to act younger than her age for information or just for the fun off it. She sometimes likes to scold people unintentionally. Appearance:5'4 with dark brown hair and green eyes. Interest: Music, literature, and anything that catches her attention. Other: Name: Elijah Addison Age: 17 Power: None Occupatuion:Busboy at a local restaurant. Personality: He can be a very literal person at times. Sarcastic and has a fondness of playing dumb. Likes to hold his sister midnight adventures as blackmail, generally protective of her. Appearance: 6'0 with brown hair and eyes. Interest: Solitude. Other: _______________ Name: Renmazuo Age: 17 Power: Errr... FlameBringer Occupation: High School student Personality: An Ordinary school kid who likes to study, Although he has the power, He rarely use it unless it's a really Emergency situation when he has to save people's life. Appearance: Usually wear School uniform, has Black hair, Average height, Wears Glasses, Has Emerald Coloured Eye. Interest: Books, Lesson Other: -none- ____________________ Name: Kay A.Serenade Age: 20 Power: Seer Occupation: Freelance programmer. Takes photos as a side job Personality: He has mixed personalities. Sometimes he act with a different set of persona. But most of the time, he's quiet at prefers doing his own things. Can be very indecisive at times. Appearance: Long blue-black hair with the left eye covered by his fringe. The hair at his back reaches the waist. Have purple eyes and uses a pair of glasses. Usually wears a black shirt and black cargo pants with a pair of sport shoes and sometimes wears a long white trench coat. Has a diamond shaped watch on his left wrist attached to a string(string is tied on his wrist, so the watch is dangling on the string), Wears a dice pendant around his neck. Usually uses it when he's being indecisive Interest: Anything to do with computers. Food (especially breads) and cocktails. Photography Other:? ______________________________ Name: Avalon Ragenight Age: 25 Power: Metal Bringer Occupation: Military Official Personality: A very strict person as he is one of the military official. Laugh occasionally but not much Appearance:  Interest: Anything about military and politics Other:? ____________________________ Name: Shouzari kouna Age: 21 sex:Male Power: Shielder Occupation:engineer, works in his friends book shop if he has the time. Personality: cold towards strangers and always on the alert but shows his good side to people who he can trust. He does things based on instinct not even bothering to think about what he is goin to do. Appearance: Always wears a white jacket with black linings, wears a green or black shirt inside, usually wearing white jeans, wears a pair of sneakers that is lined with red, His hair slants to the left side but doesnt completely cover his eye, has green eyes, his hair is dyed white and his hair reaches his neck, wears cross earings on his ears, always has his handphone with him, has a jade pendant around his neck. Interest: Likes to get new and cool looking clothes, Loves to fix stuff and invent new things, Likes to fix car/ship/plane models for his collection [hobby] other: ? ____________________________ Name: Haiseki Ikeri(most of you know him...XD) Age: 17 Sex: Male... (duh? XP) Power: Illusionist (via a koto... XD) Occupation: A cook/delivery boy from a nearby restaurant... Personality: The typical hyper, happy-go-lucky, always smiling freak... He is almost calm during things... he isn't afraid of showing people what he think or feel... and mostly that what most people (girls) like about him... Interest: He plays almost all stringed instrument... but he has something with a koto... He also like cooking (since he lived all by himself) a fashion freak? an anime addict? and a hardcore gamer...
