Summoners: Battle of the Holy Grail(uh...updated?)

Please be serious when joining this RP cause I'm hoping you'll join and not quit halfway. If you decide to quit suddenly, throw me a PM so that I can do something about it or you can get your character killed in battle (but PM me first) 7 youngsters, aged 14 to 17, went to a southern island for a holiday. Things were fine as it is but one day, they ventured into a cave for the sake of exploration. At the end of the cave, they stumbled upon a tomb. Engraved on the tomb, there was a message. It was in an old language that is rarely used these days, but since reading these old language was one of their school's subject, they were able to make out what it says. "Those who wants to have their wishes come true, fight for your right to obtain the Holy Grail! Defeat the rest of the 6 warriors or the 21 Majestic Souls," that's what was written. The next thing the teens knew, they were back at their homes in bed. How they've gotten there is unknown. Their parents even laughed when they said they were on an island for vacation.Because for them, their children has been at home all these while... A week has passed since then. The 7 teens decided to meet up and check out the island once more. Once they've reached the island, the first thing they did was head for the cave. Sadly, the cave was there, but not the tomb. This time, a blinding flash of light covered the cave. The teens blacked out. After a few hours, they came around looking confuse but decided to head back home. But as soon as they reached out of the cave, they were greeted by something. It has the shape of a human, yet, it is not. It called itself Scarab, a Majestc Soul and that it has come to destroy them. Frightened, they split up and ran until the two of them got cornered. Scarab swiped the two as if they were paper cups. The two landed on a tree. They felt Scarab's strength and are very afraid. As soon as Scarab was about to hit them, they screamed for dear life. One of the child was suddenly engulfed in flames while the other child was protected by winds. The next thing they knew, Scarab was burning as his arms were cleanly cut off... A 2 months has passed since the even with Scarab. They haven't met any knew Majestic Souls since then. But the boy who possesses the ability to wield flame seemed to has changed. He became distant from the rest of the group. One day, he met up with everyone. All were happy when he came but his true intention was showned, he injured the wielder of light, saying he'll shall be the true bearer of the Holy Grail and shall destroy the other six wielder. The wielder of wind remembered what was written on the tomb and repeated its words, "Those who wants to have their wishes come true, fight for your right to obtain the Holy Grail! Defeat the rest of the 6 warriors or the 21 Majestic Souls...so the 6 warriors are us!? I thought we've agreed to defeat the Majestic Souls together!!". The flame wielder flew away and disappeared while laughing as soon as he heard that, leaving behind the message, 'I'll be gathering the Majestic Souls to my side." It's a long opening, I know, but that's the basic storyline on how they got the powers and stuff and why these things are happening. This RP was created based on a fanfic I used to write with a similar title about 3 to 4 years ago. The site with the fanfic is already long gone, and the fanfic itself is lost forever in a HDD crash. This above opening and the profiling below was roughly what I remembered. Rules 1)No godding (of course) 2)You can't make a Majestic Soul appear, only I can (for the plot's sakes) 3)I'll provide what type of weapon your character will be using. But you'll provide the picture of your character's weapon 4)This is set in modern day Tokyo 5)All the main characters can fly 6)No angels, hybrids, dragons etc. Only human characters 7)For your bio, please don't say 'Person with terrible and unknown past' or 'Usually cold and quiet but friendly to friends' or something like that. Why? The seven of them has been good friends since they were kids. So writing their bios that way will clash the storyline(and it's getting VERY common in RPs these days.sorry to say this, but i was starting to get kinda sick of that kinds of bio. there's no impact whatsoever at all) 8)Only maximum of ONE character are allowed.(you can have npcs for a few posts) 9)Their weapons corresponds to the elements they wield. Also, these weapons can appear as long as you will it and call forth its name. The weapons can't talk, change shape etc etc. You can give your weapons their own name. 10)There's no monsters here. So don't go around having monsters attacking and stuff. No gangfights either 11)I'll be setting what age your characters are in and their main abilities 12)Sorry, but if you're planning to have a gun for your character, they're not allowed. So no guns(kids can't own guns that's why...) 13)You weren't born with these powers, so you can't say you stronger by multiple levels and stuff.Why? If you read the story, you'll sort of understand that you gained this powers about 2 months ago... 14)If your character are injured to the brink of death, they can't use their powers How to start You start by continuing what happened after that flame wielder flew off. So basically, the light wielder will be injured so the six of them will be in one place. The six of them are now in the water wielder's mansion. Fire wielder can be anywhere else but not near the mansion and he's still flying away. The only rich person here is the water user. So the rest of the characters can work part-time jobs or something to earn their living and stuff. Majestic Souls(21 in total)(click me!) Profiles Name: Kayne Claudius Age: 17 Sex: Male Element: Wind Weapon: Sword Weapons's Name:Celes Bio: A normal student who is the ace of the track and field club for 100m dash. He received his powers after a trip in a cave. His powers were awaken when being attacked by Scarab. He loves playing the bass and guitar. Currently is pursuing his dream of becoming a doctor. Basic Abilities: Flight, Wind Control Special Ability: Speeding up (to self and one more person) Name: Haiseki Ikeri Age: 16 Sex: Male Element: Fire Weapon: Spear Weapon's Name: Bio: Ikeri possess the qualities of a fire: active, brave, powerful, persistent, boastful, loyal, and in simple terms... Ikeri is the stereotype of a fire element person... He was not the brilliant one when it comes to academics, he is more of the physical and street smart guy... former member of their school's kendo club (will add more if what I had written was fine...) he has the gift in playing the koto and writing literature such as poems and song... XD Basic Abilities: Flight, Flame Control (If you're planning to take the fire user, you'll be doing things by yourself. Also, you currently have 3 Majestic Souls as your allies(read top). You'll also need to PM me when you're planning a plot where a Majestic Soul decides to join you. When she first met her long time friends she approached them in a way that made her seem like some princess. Now after a few years... (and a few remarriges on her mother's part) she's not as bad off as kneeling by the door before opening it. Though her polite manners still manages to come back out when they least expect it. Inside she fears losing her friends more than anything else, and would usually start panicking if they'd begin fighting amongst one another. Pretty well brushed up on her acedemics and physical fitness, though she still has no idea what she wants to do with those skills, having had most aspects of her life chosen for her as a child. (her job at a bakery was decided by a homeless person!) Though she was injured by Haseki she's more worried than angry at him. And hopes to return things to back before they even found the cave. She herself detests the weapons for this reason. She is the only one in her family that have them, and thus, many people question her--they recieve the same answer: "I don't know". Her parents are both wealthy business people, and own a few companies over Japan, and one in America. She is often thought to be snobby... But that's not true. Given her personality though, she doesn't care what others say. She is outgoing, but does not let others easily into her life. To a stranger, she is polite and seems very mature, due to the excess business-like training her parents give her. She is straightforward and faces the facts but knows when to stop and/conceal information. She is academically and athletically excellent, and loves to tease her friends. She is also a very talented martial artist (and strategist). Mizumi is the type of girl who would kick a person down if they did anything to her friends. After she visits the island and discovers her powers, she already works on trying to master them. It also seems like she is a natural at wielding magic. As she gets better, summoning spells and spells in general appears in her dreams. She memorizes them and practices whenever no one is around. Then, with Hiseki's betrayal, (even though she's disappointed and mad) she accepts the the facts, and focuses on a strategizing to guarantee her friends' safety. She is not fond of the War for the Holy Grail... but she too has a wish she yearns to fulfill. @Kizuna, 2 things: age change it back to 15. the other is Bio, on the rules, i've already said not to use bios on that line (Mysterious person, unknown past, etc etc). all the characters here have a perfectly normal life @Renmazuo, no wealthy family, only the person using the water element is wealthy. the rest are all perfectly normal people. also, your parents should pretty much be alive(read the storyline, it says there 'Their parents even laughed when they said they were on an island for vacation.Because for them, their children has been at home all these while...' meaning that everyone here has parents, siblings etc and they are not dead. also, everyone receive their powers as a group, so you don't receive them alone @Maverick Hunterz, your parents should be alive due to the line in the first paragraph 'Their parents even laughed when they said they were on an island for vacation.Because for them, their children has been at home all these while...'. reason why i said no mysterious pasts, parents still alive etc etc: 1)everyone here knows each other from the very beginning. afterall they're childhood friends 2)'Their parents even laughed when they said they were on an island for vacation.Because for them, their children has been at home all these while...' was written at the last line of the first paragraph. so your parents are not dead 3)personal reason: parents dead, seek revenge, unknown pasts, mysterious person...i mean...it's getting so common...these days it's not even a special kind of bio anymore and i'm (and probably a few others) are starting to find it kinda irritating... 4)forgot to mention this but nothing terrible happens in your character's past they're leading normal lives as students and basically, that's it. they're not mysterious, have memory lost, unknown entity etc etc. |

yea, only 7. we don't really travel as a group a lot. as for school, setting is around school holidays so you only go for club activities most of the time or getting part-time jobs (except for Haseki, he won't be in school since well, he's kinda like the bad guy and is moving around looking for the rest of the Majestic Souls). |

er... mailed this thing to you earlier... and you didn't reply... so I decided to place it here... I decided to take the character of the fire user.... and I have questions to ask: 1: Can we only have one weapon? 2: Are the Majestic souls are like pets? 3: Are they summoned or tags along with you? 4: You've given us the Major abilities... can I add some more abilities like Minor ones? XD and oh... brief me on how the story should go... am I to find the remaining Majestic Souls before the other 6 does? sorry for my questions but I am just clearing things out XD

No tricks yet, but is getting much better. Energy Restoration(to self and others): perfected Water Control: Can move a set amount of water (a swimming pool) is still practicing to move more. Other Abilities: Summoning: Not perfect, she can only see a translucent image of her staff Others: Still trying to figure out the spells from her dreams. |

@Haseki, sorry, was gone playing Melty Blood XD 1)You only have one weapon 2)Nope, they're not pets. They're what you call them, boss monsters and stuff 3)For your case, you can summon them once you get them to your ally, but for the rest of us, we'll have to kill it. I'll be the one who controls when they appear and stuff 4)The ones i gave are just the basic. You can create more on your own. But you can't use healing and ability increasing skills and stuff. @Ryoko, i created this fanfic way before i know there's Fate/Stay Night O_o |

Last thing: 1. Can my koto have special abilities? but still isn't used as a weapon? like um... for every song Ikeri play, a corresponding effect will happen... or he could use it to summon the majestic souls??? thanks XD... gonna post when I got online every night... XD

1)sure why not? you can use your abilities and stuff even without weapons. You can only summon Majestic Souls that are allied to you though |
