latest downloads don't work anymore?

| Well i use firefox and quicktime and usually when i go to listen to a song it works right now with the newest ones it quit working and all i see is a bunch of weird symbols and stuff... what changed and why does the new stuff not work? Old songs work fine just new ones don't work. |

when you click on the new links, try using right-click and select "save as"

I'm actually getting the same problem, maybe it's firefox though... when i click one of the links i get a pretty long page of just gibberish and symbols, though only on the ones that are currently highlighted in blue. here's a screencap of what i get when i click one of those links. http://img229.echo.cx/img229/7725/untitled9vl.jpg Edit: sorry, i also noticed if i save as it tries to save a text file |

That "gibberish" is what an mp3 file looks like if you try to open it as a text file. It's still good - just wait for your browser to finish loading the whole page, then save as. Firefox reports it as a text file, but just give it an mp3 extension and you should be fine... provided you didn't cut off the file by hitting STOP or not waiting for it to load. | That sounds good and stuff but tbh i don't like to download the full songs (this saves ur bandwidth too :) ) i listen to first 20 or so seconds to see if i like it then i quickly close quick time (or leave it open to save it if i like it). I really liked the streaming feature so i don't need the whole song to know what it sounds like. Please please fix this :) thanks. |

Ah, I thought I was the only one with this problem. I tried to "save as" but somehow it did not work.....and it doesn't matter if I use IE of Firefox..... edit......I got it working....i made a little mistake myself |

ok, after lots and lots of testing i have isolated the problem. it is a problem with the web host i am using to store the mp3 files. i will begin retroactivly fixing the files. new files will have no more problems.

everything above Requiem Softly doesn't work. Edit** Seems like a few work now so you must be fixing them but last night none worked. Thanks for workin on it. |
