Intel PROset wireless software problem

Okay, I'm unable to use Intel PROset to connect online. I'm forced to use the standard windows connection tool which is extremely lousy. When I used the PROset tool when I first got my laptop the connection was great. I'm using an Alienware M5550. After a month I got a BSOD and was unable to start my laptop without first going into safe mode. In order to get rid of the screen I tried system recovery, but the recovery always failed. So I tried uninstalling files that might have been the cause. It was a program called Windows Blinds. Well, I also uninstalled my RAID controller and my PROset software. I found no help googling for a new RAID controller. I read what it is, so I don't think it's the problem, but it would be good to have just in case. Umm.. the problem is that I can't install the software correctly. I tried going to drivers at alienware.com and downloading all the files related to Intel. No luck... I tried uninstalling everything related to Intel and installing everything again and still had no luck. I compared two laptops with the software and I noticed that for some reason my laptop doesn't have any start menu things about Intel and it doesn't seem to be installing the components. And I have no files where it says 'IT Admin'. I called for support from alienware and they walked me through it and still no luck. They told me to format and start everything over. I'm not going to do that because I think the problem has an easier fix. x.x So.. based on what I've told you.. Does anyone have a fix for this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. ^^ Edit:: It was my registry. I guess what had happened was that I deleted all of those and uninstalled them, and as I was doing a system restore because of the BSOD the registry must've remained the same. So when I would try installing my wireless software again, the thing would recognize file names and instead of rewriting them, skip them. I figured it out after I posted it but never got around to posting something on here xD It's been at least a year since this problem and I just remembered haha! xD
