Air Gear coming back?

My friend says Air Gear got picked up for a second season, while I say it was cancelled. Who's right? If they get another season, I'm glad, but I really want to know. Thanks.

Hi, Zannen...What I heard was that they first started the anime is to encourage ppl to buy and the manga?? I don't think the production plans for another season...though...I really hope that I don't need to read; I would prefer watching anime when it comes to Air Gear mi-chan yori~

hey yah Air Gear fans here!^^ yeah it would be better if they would release a second season rather than manga....but it would be better if they would make a REAL AT's....what do you think guys?

Right now I don't think OhGreat! is far enough along in the manga to make a second season yet. The most recent raw I've been able to find is 161 which leaves it around chapter 180ish. If the first season was made out of the first 100 chapters in the manga I'd say we have a bit of a wait. The second OST came out in February if that will tide you all over. I really want a second season. This anime re-sparked my interest in free running. They probably could develop real AT's but they'd need a tiny/high powered electric engine and a way to power that engine. If it were to fit on just like a shoe, that'd be one high-tech power source. So I'm happy jumping over stuff without hyper-advanced, motorized Heelys. |

The anime series isn't a much as the manga... probably the second series is got to do with after math of the Behomoth battle and on to Ikki's way to get his regelia. There's gonna be Ringo going against him by the way.  |

There are good parts in hte manga that they left out in the anime but that's always how it goes. I enjoy watching anime more because you can get more feeling from it. The tones of voice, the music, and the motion; when that's well done it creates synergy that takes it far beyond what could be written in script. If it does get picked up for a second season I'll be the happiest fan on the planet. @ich, Oh yeah Air Gear is filled with so many awesome quotes. The one I recall the best is one of Ringo's speeches about ATs. "A turn, a jump, and an air movement...When you're doing better than yesterday, or even if it's just slightly better than you imagined. Even if it's a minor growth compared to the day before, it makes you feel excited. And that way something has been accumulated by your powers and your accomplishments are known as 'Freedom.'" But wouldn't it be better if they released the manga and a second season? I love to collect manga, and watch stuff on youtube. So that would make me happy ^_^  |

@eureka hope they would do that...I want to see how Ikki's Regalia differs from other...as I had read the Manga, Sora can now walk without having his wheelchair and I saw one of his member....Dont know the next issue but thats a part of what I saw..

Sora became the next Gem King right? Kururu managed to get her own regelia as well... I can't remember who but a close friend of Ikki's became the next flame king after Spitfire. The most confusing part of the manga... is the headmaster Klik? (the one who gave Ikki the Moondrop Bangram) Nah, he's too old to be Simca's brother... Simca is one of the Tool Toul actually. |
