LOL here a bit out of a Japanese phrasebook: Invites: Are you free this (Saturday night)? (doyobi no yoru) wa hima desu ka? / What are you doing this evening/weekend? (komban/konshu no shumatsu) nani o shimasu ka? / Would you like to go for a drink/meal? nomi/tabe ni ikimasen ka? [I don't know if that will help but it's something. =)

cinema = eiga
amusement park = yuuenchi
lake = mizu umi

isshoo ni [eiga/yuuenchi/mizu umi] e ikimashoo ka?

isshoo = together
ikimashoo ka? = shall we go

plug in a place name where the [ ] are for other places.

eta: thanks. I keep forgetting html is ok here, most forums don't allow it.

you have to be careful with the < >, it thought you were using HTML.

Hmmm....

As for "will you go out with me", it goes something like this... (I'm assuming that this is about dates and not just GOING OUT if you get what I mean)

Uhm, if it's like your first date and that you're just acquaintances with the girl then: "Etto, moshi yokattara... Boku to tsukiatte kudasaimasen ka?" It's a general soft approach... She'll understand....

And, if it's like a first date and you already know the person to a certain degree then this is how it goes: "Ano ne, boku ga chotto kangaeteta nde, tsukiatte kurenai?" A basic approach...

And lastly, if it's like your first date and you've known each other for a long time or that you're already pretty close but have not yet asked her out and ye' know, make yer' dating relationship official.... Then this is the way to go:

First... Confess.... But not too direct...

"Anooo... **-chan... Chotto hanashi ga arun da kedo...."

"Nani, nani? Nani mo kiite yo! Sa, nani ga iitai?"

"Jitsu wa tte sa... Zutto mae kara... Kimi no koto..."
"Etto sono... **-chan... Kimi ga suki... Dakara tsukiatte kure!"

*Girl goes blank*

(Depending on the girl's personality and other factors.... She might accept and reciprocate the feelings you have for her or she just needs some time to accept your feelings etc. , etc. ...)

(But given the conditions... She'd probably be thinking the same thing -or not- and you might just make your feelings official... Usually, given the above conditions... Most Japanese girls/women would really, really love it if you said so)

That's just some advice and ideas on what to say based on the conditions... Hope that you might find it useful... Ja ne!
