What's the problem with the anime downloads?

Though it certainly seemed to good to be true, Just what kind of issues are causing the anime downloads going down? I think it was an excellent service, and would very much like to see it back up.

Songs go down from time to tme, due to a lack of donations. They go back up once he has enough donations to host the songs again, something like that.
