Opera used in Anime songs?

I'm a fan of Japanese opera.. especially since hearing Lilium on Elfen Lied (Fantastic series and song btw), I'm wondering if anyone has encountered other opera music or singers within Anime?  |

Oh, that song for Elfen Lied was pretty nice. I've heard many opera type songs in anime, but right now, I can think of Cowboy Bepop, and I think near the end, too. So dramatic... T-T

In Cowboy Bebop, episode 4 "Ballad of Fallen Angels" They played "Ave Maria" I'm not too sure if "Lilium" classify as opera being it's more of a religious song.  |
