ahOY~~ Minna-san ^^ Just want to know what you like the best when it's about culture festival?? ^^ As for me.. it must be... foods.. foods.. and lots of delicious foods >.< and.. of course fireworks ^o^ Soo.. what's best for you?? ^^

Hmm.. whatever.. Japanese Culture Festival,, or your Local Culture Festival.. ^^ for Japanese Culture Festival.. of course.. the foods,, fireworks,, and yukata ^^ and for my locl culture festival.. hmm.. must be.. hard works.. I really like working for a festival >.< and of course.. the songs.. bands.. waH~~ I love it so much ^o^

hmmm...japanese culture festival~~ well..i love the booths~~ [e.g. horror booths, maid cafe, etc.] the FOODS~~ they all look sooo yummy~~ [never tasted one though~ xD] the yukatas~!! sugoku kawaii desu yo! i really wanna wear one~!! the dance~~ really sweet~~ kyaa! and of course, the fireworks~!! hontou ni kirei~~ well...i never experienced the real thing~~ but i saw a lot on animes and jdoramas~~ and it looks really fun~~ hopefully when I go to japan [even for just a visit]~ attending a culture festival would be on my must-do list~ ^__^

in our cultural festival at school we have exchange of cultural blah blah... like, we, filipinos learns japanese culture by going to the kiosks/rooms wherein the japanese volunteers awaits.. hehehe we usually do, yukata wearing, japanese cooking treats, igo (go boards), how to use chopsticks, calligraphy, shogi, sports...etc..also, we have our filipino cultures on the line as well... and in the night time, we dance the 'bon odori'... we usually have our rp-jpn festivities annually, every september. ^^

next month is Bon Odori festival at Malaysia...but I can't come because no transport and no money....but If you want to come to festival here the date,time,place... Date:- 18 July 2009 Time:- 5.00 pm Place:- Panasonic Spots Complex,Shah Alam,Selangor,Malaysia (Matsuhita Center) this event I get from malaysian anime magazine...so to malaysian people,come and have experince japanese culture...   |

I say that no one who hasn't attended a real Japanese cultural festival should comment on it. You can't judge everything Japanese from just animes.  |

The Culture Festival is one reason why I'm envious of the Japanese. They have the Culture Festival at their schools every year. America has lost its culture, there's no more of these things going on here. I've been wanting to go to Japan to participate in a Culture Festival. But I'm not going to Japan for school anytime soon. The only chance I have is if there are Culture Festivals at college, and I end up going to a college in Japan.  |

you shouldnt compare culture with japan and america cause japan is just one culture and america is like a giant soup mixing with all different race of cultures. I just dont appreciate the jews, africans, chinese, did i mention the jews? and hitler and the blacks that arent real blacks cause theyre brown or spanish? ive been to a highschool festival at Tokyo Metropolitan Kokusai near komabano park when i attended 6 years ago i remember it all too fondly all the pretty girls.. and the pretty girls... and did i mention the girls?... the guys were an eyesore i like the girls only... |

I do love japanese culture,i've read about some of their festivals. Some are based upon seasons and some are on their past. There is a sengoku jidai festival and then there is a cherry blossom festival too. I'd love to go to both of them. America hasn't lost its culture but has become infused with some many other cultures that it some how can no longer decifer its own from others. I'm mixed with two or three different cultures and so if things were like that i would be celebrating a german holiday and two different indian holidays too. I also think that i've got some Irish or Scotish in,its the red hair on one side of the family. its like copper red. We have so many cultures in america and its kind of divided us at least where culture is called into play. sometimes.
