hmmm... kinda interesting it's not that hard when you are really into it. I practiced writing katakana and hiragana everyday back then. And i'm doing the same with Kanji. (well i only know a little kanji)
hoy! pinoy ako! buo akig loob may agimat ang dugo ko.

Really excited >_< Katakana and hiragana with a few really basic kanji is all I can do at the moment, but it still feels like a great accomplishment anyway =P Though I got a little disinterested after learning the conversion of foreign loanwords into katakana. It sounds like broken English no matter how many times I hear it =P I mean, English is not my first language, and I went through a lot learning proper spelling, grammar and pronounciation.. And now I must deal with Engrish again in Japanese =P It's somewhat felt like a backward step.. -_- Anyone felt the same way? The language is still the greatest though >_< I'm glad I' learning it ^_^ |

I chose to learn French 1st since my dad asked me to. But than, I had a feeling that I love Japanese more.. So I convert to Japanese.... I was SO EXCITED ! I was like... MAN ~! I'm learning JAPANESE ! Da COOLEST language on EARTH ! lol ~ hahaahhaa... but...errr... my lazyness can't help it. I didn't get good marks n all.... but it's fun learning it ! I should continue learning Kanji n Katakana... I can't believe till now, I still couldn't memorize Katakana ~ Aiyak~~~ But I feel graceful now... cuz at least I learned it. At least, I can talk some Japanese... hehe~ |

Believe it or not, but at first I wasn't interested in Japanese at all. Then after watching anime, the first thing that crossed my mind was this. "Omfg, what the hell is wrong with me?" So, from that point on, I tried to learn Japanese through listening to what people say. I'm completely unfamiliar with writing though, as I would be likely to fail that >_>
Everything I say is a lie. Except that. And that. And that...

| I started learning Japanese about two and half years ago. I was really excited, but by now it has gradually become more difficult. Of course, I'm still very interested in learning, thanks to anime and such. 日本へ行った事ないけど、夏に行きたい!俺も上手になりたい! |

| well that would be now, since i started teaching myself about 4 months ago. i feel like why the heck is everyone able to use kanji symbols on their computers and i can't and also i believe i will become fluent and literate, but it'll take a long long time, longer then i thought. i thought if i taught myself and studied hard i could be fluent and literate in 2-3 years...haha. i still hope that actually but i am not making any firm expectations because i don't want to become disinclined to continue due to my progress not keeping up with my expectations. it will come eventually, i'd like to learn as fast as possible, but i'm in it for the long haul, no matter what! :P |

i never really sat down to study it til this year lol. i picked up mostly speech from the past few years from watching anime and listening to jap music. But this year i'm taking it as a school subject and well... i practically picked up the entire hiragana and katanaka list in less than two months XDD eeks. kanji's not a big problem for my cause i got a little of chinese background (kanji and chinese characters are about the smae so...) Yeah. I'm happy that i can read hiragana and katakana now ^^ |
