My download freezes halfway
|
| My download freezes halfway when I DL music (sometimes it doesn't freeze, but I gotta try a few times). I know it's not the site's fault, it's probably my stupid router (this PC uses a Wireless network router) or my IE7. I'm just wondering if anyone knows how to make it so that my downloads don't freeze. (P.S. Only my BitTorrent downloads without freezing; even my FilePlanet client freezes T_T). |

how much downloads? which files? what is your download speed? when did this happen?

How many downloads: Every HTTP download (some get lucky and download on the first try). Which files: I guess every file. What is your DL speed: Using the Speakeasy Speed Test, my average DL speed is about 1300kbps (163KB/s). When did this happen: It happens all the time. On a note: I think that "Bokura no Kiseki" (Our Miracle) from "Aa! Megami-sama: Sorezore no Tsubasa" (Ah! My Goddess: An Individual Wing) is corrupted; it crashes my music player when I play it. I have no idea how to report corrupt files, so I thought I'd post it here. Note to the note above: I just noticed that the person who replied was Gendou (hehe ^_^'), so I guess that posting the above song here is one way of reporting it, so long as Gendou reads this thread again. |

This is not specific. Download on song, as a test, and give me the following information: 1. precisely which song you are attempting to download. 2. how much of the song downloaded before it cut off, in kilobytes. 3. how long it was downloading before it cut off. 4. the date and time (gendou time) of your download attempt. if you give me vague answers like "every file" and "all the time" i cannot and will not help you further.

oh, well, then its not my problem. however, i would suggest to you that the problem is likely your router.
