i am a anime freak,anime fanatic,anime obsessed,anime hardcore fan(i only think of anime 24/7)..so I am totally not a drama fan, until i watch this drama called: nobuta wo produce(anyone heard of it?) i think the drama industry in japan is not that active compare to the anime production...what do u guys think? i think very so! banzai to anime and manga!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BANZAI!!!! P.S: Sorry if there is another thread about this...

Actually there have been some good ones in ammerica subbed....In California there is an asian channel, Channel 18, which showed Gokusen (i htink that is what it was named) And currently are showing a drama called "A song For The Sun". It is really good if you are into the romantic/ drama thing...  |

| I am a huge fan of japanese dramas and i think the only reason why the j-drama industry is not as big as the anime industry is because most people are too lazy to read the subtitles for the dramas. They would rather much see and listen to the animes in english rather than read and hear anything in Japanese, even though it is a good opportunity to see how words are pronounced and translated. |

My love for dramas probably started when my family began watching Meteor Garden, the Taiwanese adaption of Hana Yori Dango. Now, I'm watching Atsuhime the current year-long drama in Japan. But the subtitles are in Chinese, so I can't follow the story well. ^^; p.s. Does anyone know the name of this drama? It's about a girl and her widowed father who owns a flower shop. A mysterious businessman hires a female employee to pose as a blind woman in order gain the father's sympathy. Then, she is ordered to seduce the father, only to break his heart afterwards. Can someone give me the name of this drama, please? |

i love Nobuta wo produce!!!!! you HAVE to watch Hanazakari no kimi tachi e - the japanese version!!! Horikita Maki (Nobuta)plays the leading role there too^^ i recomend Hana Yori Dango too, it is awsome too^^  |

I want to see Hanazakari no Kimitachi e so bad. I can dL 1-11, though not 12. Each episode is like, 450 MB. :/ I gotta find a streaming site for it, since the ones I've tried all took 'em off or something.

i still personally prefer the Japanese version of Hana Kimi than the Taiwanese one! pfft and it was frustrating when a local program here claimd that the Taiwanese Version is the orginal one but i dont think it is since how can that be possible, the Taiwanese one differs a lot from the Japanese ver and the manga was originaly made by Japanese pfft o.o"

| I love dramas!! Some faves of mine are Hana Kimi, Hana Yori Dango, Hana Yori Dango Returns, Hotaru no Hikari, 1 Litre of Tears, and Honey and Clover. I like Taiwanese and Korean dramas too!! Some Japanese drama movies I've watched are Hatsuyuki no Koi (part Korean), Koizora, and Lovely Complex. |

The first drama I've ever watched was "Kimi wa Petto" with Jun Matsumoto... ever since I got addicted!!! I really like ... more like LOVE/ADORE Mike He from "Devil Beside You" and "Why Why Love". I recommend those for all drama lovers, even if they are not Japanese. Other drama I sort of liked, but isn't my favorite, is Gokusen. Jun Matsumoto also starred on this one. Well, have fun watching 'em and don't get too addicted!  |
