Tsubasa Resivoir Chronicle... the anime!

Yes, if any of you've read the manga series that's currently being released here in the states by DelRey... it's a really good series for anyone who's a fan of the wonderful Manga-ka group CLAMP! Famous for such series as Cardcaptor Sakura, Magic Knight Rayearth, X, Chobits, and many more, Tsubasa is a story that's actually a huge AU CROSSOVER of many of CLAMP's works! The main characters are Shouran, the son of a world famous archiologist, and Sakura, princess of the desert kingdom of Clow... and one day, a strange power awakens inside of her and she loses all of her memories! The Feathers of her memories fly to many other worlds, or dimensions... and Shouran is sent with Sakura to find them! Along the way, they pick up compainions, Fai, Kurogane, and Mokana who will be helping them find the lost feathers... I've got the first four graphic novels out so far here, and am waiting for the fifth... BUT I'm also waiting for the possibility of fansubs! The series is being made into an anime in Japan right now, in fact, the premiere airing date for the anime in Japan is April 9th, 2005! So that's just in like a week! It'll be a weekly series. There is even a trailer posted up on like.. BitTorrent if anyone uses that (I have friends who do, so that's how I got to see the trailer finally) But hopefully, some loving, wonderful, really good Fansub Group shall pick up this series and begin to sub it for us fans here... I have friends on the look out for the first downloads probably next month... I don't expect anyone to really get this series out any sooner... but hopefully fansubs hit here soon! So... has anyone else been reading Tsubasa and what do they think of it? What do you guys think of the idea of it being an anime now as well?

I was so happy when I first heard the news, I almost cried! The anime will (hopefully) be wonderful. But... I HATE Syaoran-kun's voice!!! Its not that I hate Miyu Irino, its just that I've heard his voice for so many other characters, and I still think he's not for Syaoran. I wish they could have kept their old voice actors, though it may not by possible for Syaoran (seeing as he was ten in CCS) but why change Sakura, Touya, Tomoyo, and Yukito?! So all-in-all I'm glad that this is finally becoming an anime, but I am still mad at the choice of seiyuu. BTW, The ending song, "Loop" by Maaya Sakamoto, is GREAT. Also if this anime is going to be popular (if it isn't already) it might be fansubbed... 30 minutes after it first airs (Fansubbers can be fast if anime is good). |

Chevere, el ending es muy chevere y la voz de Shao Lang no está mal asi que apenas el primer Vcd yo me lo compro!!!y no se como hare!!!

| My friend told me that Tsubasa Chronicle Reservoir wii be aired on NHK starting April 9, 6:30 (i don't know if am or pm) Japan time. People, let's watch it!!! |

Oh ooh ooh! I can't wait for the anime to come out in english! However, the one thing that troubles me is Kurogane's voice. I hoep they don't butcher it in english......oh, the inhumanity!  "When life gives you lemons, shut up and eat your stupid lemons." |

i love tsubasa....did u know that the voice of syaoran would be the same one as Daisuke Niwa's from DNANGEL??? i bet u didn't, i think sakura and syaoran won't end up together cause of of their stupid freaking promise Yuko so....... yeah......LOL..... I love anime... i like cardcaptor sakura, love hina, one piece, chobits, daa daa daa, pita ten, mythic sleuth loki, angelic layer, mabuharo, tsubasa, gravitation, saiyuki, galaxy angel, inuyasha, read or die, fruit basket, ruroni kenshin, neon genesis evangelion, alien 9, mermaid melody pitchy pitch.... and more... i think.... i also like LINDSAY LOHAN all the way baby!!!!

What worries me from manga into anime things is the design character... From the pictures I saw in magazine (very few of them >_<;; ) I don't think the character design in the anime could be better than the manga... Still, the story is really wonderful ^^ I couldn't wait to read the next chapters where the group met Yasha and Ashura ^^ I just hope CLAMP wouldn't make a tragic ending for this story.... |

| Can't wait for the fansub groups to start working on Tsubasa! Yuka-san looks like the character with the most drastic design change... Speaking of which, xxxHolic is going to be a movie, not a series, and supposedly they're not even going to put Syaoran, Fai, and Kurogane in the movie. Oh well, at least we still get a crossover in Tsubasa. |

Not so sure, but maybe the anime might work out nicely. I like all the crossovers. You can spend a short while figuring out which Clamp anime they came from. I wonder who the voice actors are though. They might/ might not get the previous voice actors(hope they get the popular ones though. XP). XXXHolic is a bit weird, but I don't think they might add the part where Syaoran and the other two people come in. Well, maybe, but that means you'd have to get two sets of anime, if you know what I mean.

ah! they finally released the anime version of the thing yey!! ^_^ i fisrt read this as a sequel to card captor sakura - then i find the source wrong, cuz it's totally not! there began my quest to find manga translations and before i knew it, they say an anime version will be released in 2005! i hope they get to fansub it soon! |

It would indeed be interesting if they made an anime series of XXXHolic, BUT I don't think they would have to... just like how every time you read XXXHolic or Tsubasa, they remind you that you don't HAVE to read both to understand what's going on... but if you do read both, you just get the intersections of the story from both sides instead of just the one. That makes it cool... it's a crossover within a crossover which makes things just hilarious if you ask me. Soon as I talk to my friend's who download fansubs... I'll be asking them again to keep thier eyes open for it. Since I don't download eps... cause I don't have the capacity to do so. Kinda bites that way, but oh well, at least I'll get it somehow!

| When I found out that Tsubasa became an anime I was jumping for joy! I even have the frist 8 ep. though I olny have ep1 in sub. One thing has been on my mind lately is that when they bring Tsubasa to the U.S. are they going to dub it or make it sub. Because of what happen to CCS I'm a little concern about Tsubasa. What do u guys think? |

probably might sub it but then again, in america they'll probably have a higher chance of dubbing it...it's bad...

| i've the manga up to vol.9 so far! i think it's a very interesting story & i like it lots!!!! but i still prefer the manga version more than the anime. |

| I love the manga- I was so obsessed with it for about a year (I still usually want to go buy it the first day it is released from DelRey...) But my obsession ended with the anime. It broke my heart. It's so horrible ;_; (I think it is, anyway). I want to KILL Bee Train! The art isn't pretty, they screw around with the story line, there's a filler episode like every three episodes, and... gah! I can't take it. I used to try to keep up with the fansub releases, but now I couldn't care less. |

| O have watched all the epi in season 1 and i think is very good. The manga is the best as there are some humour in it. But overall both are very good. Cant wait for second season. |

I hear that Tsubasa Chronicles was liscensed.. Will it just be season 1, or is it the whole series? I think the manga has a bit more humour in it, and after reading the manga, I already know what's going to happen in the anime, so i don't get surprised or anything ~_~ I really wanted to see the xxHolic/TRC movie!  |
