Welcome to Cryptography Challenge 10!
The object of this game is to decipher the hidden message.
The encrypted message can be found here.
You will need to learn the encryption method using the key supplied below.
To start off, try to figure out what each pair of numbers in the key represents.
This will lead you to the decryption method.

Good luck!
(12, 44), (18, 41), (36, 10), (1, 9), (8, 29), (22, 3), (29, 46), (9, 13), (12, 36), (23, 5), (17, 34), (36, 18), (35, 18), (14, 15), (16, 14), (23, 28), (15, 5), (35, 14), (20, 40), (37, 18), (12, 24), (24, 9), (26, 20), (16, 11), (33, 23), (12, 39), (3, 39), (10, 24), (31, 50), (2, 16), (20, 26), (10, 38), (24, 14), (30, 18), (18, 4), (18, 7), (4, 10), (9, 41), (14, 46), (34, 9), (11, 21), (26, 36), (35, 14), (7, 12), (37, 27), (32, 14), (7, 36), (25, 17), (5, 38), (20, 1), (16, 11), (17, 22), (33, 13), (20, 41), (20, 7), (24, 15), (17, 30), (37, 31), (24, 49), (3, 6), (27, 32), (17, 16), (4, 6), (9, 22), (30, 15), (25, 33), (19, 22), (13, 13), (5, 29), (27, 2), (31, 28), (27, 31), (16, 18), (14, 42), (18, 5), (1, 35), (9, 1), (9, 47), (31, 21), (36, 35), (14, 32), (26, 45), (25, 15), (5, 39), (15, 15), (25, 1), (6, 35), (36, 10), (13, 28), (1, 47), (1, 9), (30, 34), (31, 24), (34, 35), (33, 25), (26, 8), (14, 48), (37, 3), (12, 35), (31, 40), (25, 16), (19, 11), (24, 22), (9, 41), (34, 50), (30, 5), (22, 30), (33, 40), (19, 11), (24, 30), (24, 9), (17, 15), (37, 3), (9, 42), (35, 17), (17, 35), (33, 15), (15, 15), (24, 50), (25, 18), (33, 24), (29, 25), (1, 36), (11, 21), (21, 43), (35, 10), (32, 49), (4, 2), (8, 12), (36, 16), (31, 20), (31, 35), (8, 34), (36, 33), (11, 18), (4, 25), (12, 2), (5, 38), (8, 29), (12, 8), (9, 19), (22, 3), (22, 45), (8, 22), (28, 42)

completed this one, and PM you the answer...i think this one was pretty easy, except that you'll have to really make sure you didn't miss anything...

Decoding the first message is NOT the end of the game!
Contained in the first message is the KEY to decrypting the second message.

Solved this one... Programming knowledge really helps in those things. hardest things were calculating number of pairs in the key to declare array and finding secondary information source ^^

Square, i'm going to have to come up with a really hard one for #11 in order to stump you!

I just realized I have brain damage or something... I have no idea of what am I supposed to do with each pair of numbers... they look like coordinates. T_T

The other possibility is that each couple represents a letter or even a space... anyway, sorry for my ignorance.

As I know nothing of programming stuff, then I don't have that kind of help.

managed to decrypt both the messages^^ finally...

@Kei-kun, yes, you're right about it being coordinates. it can be letters, spaces, period etc etc. it's pretty obvious and easy to decode the first message, but it takes a lot of time and effort to decrypt the second message though.
and don't worry not knowing anything on programming, you don't really need to be a programmer to decrypt this^^

I would appreciate it if you guys post the answer here when the scoreboard is full so I and other people, that doesnt know how to do this, would get the idea on how you guys decrypt the encrypted message because I really dont have any idea on what those coordinate represents. Even if you told me its letter, spaces, periods or whatever symbol I dont have any idea on how you guys subtitute those coordinate as symbol

I dare you to not to read this.. opps too bad you already read it

there are not and never will be complete spoilers to the cryptography challenges, if you can't figure them out, they will haunt you for the rest of your life. just like Kryptos does to me!

is it ok if i give a little tip?
1)if you use linux...use the vi editor (gedit might work, though i didn't used that...used is used vi)
2)if you use windows...notepad

@Gendou:delete this post if you find my tips inappropriate ^^

edit:btw, nice new avatar^^

I doubt that the answer that I gave to Mr. Gendou was wrong.

HI Gendou i solved the first part of the puzzle but the final answer still eludes me. should the final answer contain part of the first solution?

I didn't even go to find the second message =_=|||
Now I'm coming back to solve it again...by hands

But I still want to learn how to do it faster with a program =(
