Hey people.. What do you think of honey and clover? Well I made this thread to ask your opinion about honey and clover being a sad, touching but meaningful? So Do you think that Honey and Clover is a very touching and sad show in some parts? I feel that Honey and Clover is the BEST anime ever made.. No.1, Teenagers can relate themselves to the characters cause the characters are mainly teenagers and the storyline is basicly about teenage life and their love life.. No.2, If you all notice.. At every end of the chapter, A character will say something like a poem to describe his feelings for somebody else he or she loves.. That makes this anime really meaningful, touching and Sad at the same time.. Seeing and listening to all those emotional words makes me wanna cry.. I'm kinda serious about it ya know? So does anyone here agree that Honey and Clover is a meaningful sad and touching? And in what way do you think this anime is meaningful sad and touching?

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!! Besides being meaningful and sad, it's also one of the funniest anime, I've ever seen! Undoubtedly one of the most imaginative and creative anime ever created. The Shuuji, Yamada and Morita are just sooo funny! But for me, it's a tie between Kamichu! and Honey and Clover for best anime. I can't wait until Honey and Clover 2 come out in Malaysia!!!!! |

Honey and clover made me laugh more than it made me cry, and i enjoyed every single episode i watched. It certainly helps with self-discovery The songs are great ^^

hmmm....honey & clover is the best anime ever....it is known is JAPANESE-version of F.R.I.E.N.D.S....the storyline that involves friendships and inrequited love....it's quite creative...most meaningful, touching, funny and saddest anime...i've watched the 2nd season of Honey & Clover but only half way....hehehehe....thumbs-up to the creator of honey and clover....oh,the songs are great too....XD

I'm done with season 2! i agree... this anime is very heartwarming and at times, light and funny ^^ That's why i really really love it. This is how "slice of life" animes should be! |

I watched the first season, and I'm going to watch the second one. Some moments are indeed touching, but there are a lot of funny moments too. I like the background music that's played on funny scenes. Oh, and when I first found out where the title comes from, I was pretty surprised; I've never thought that it came from something like the author's favorite song albums, and that also explains the song featured as insert songs in the anime...   |

*sigh!* HOney and Clover...it's one of my favorite animes!!! And indeed it is touching, sad and yet meaningful. I cried a lot when i watched this series. I finished the two seasons within, mhh... i think two weeks. I bought the dvd (although it was quite expensive)in a fair as a present for myself(silly, neh?!) and I watched it during 2006's Christmas Break; just after i got home from the fair. And though Christmas is a happy season, it made me really sad... sorry,i'm getting carried away! ~,~ And though there were funny moments, it was still meaningful! Even the insert songs makes me cry...>,< But though, it makes me cry, i still love to watch it over and over again! It's a nice story of unrequited love... hope there'll be another season!!!

i really like this anime! yup it's sad and touching! people can relate to it! i also like it cuz it has lessons to be learned of! such a good anime!
