Getting "Max 5 dls at a time" but...
|
I haven't dl-ed anything today, am downloading anything or using download accelerators. I am however, experiencing some lagginess, mainly due to the crappy ISP in my country... =x help? "Sorry, you may only have up to 5 downloads going at a time. This attempt has been logged. Please save bandwidth for everyone else!" EDIT: The thread closed down before I could reply. Rather than posting a new thread for the same prob, I'm gonna gamble that someone might look at this. I'd just like to say that I didn't click the dl link multiple times, only once... but I did however, not use the "save as" way and just clicked it, did it make a dif?

Let me guess you thought the download wasn't going through so you clicked the link again, and when you did it still didn't Download, so you did for a grand total of over five times. But because you didn't follow proper procedure of saving the link you had started over 5 downloads of the same song. Hence the warning. |

As mentioned in the FAQ, if you are accessing the internet from behind a proxy, downloads by all the other users on that proxy count towards your 5 download limit. This is because, on the back end, downloaders are identified by IP address. If your ISP is crappy and doesn't offer you your own IP address, it is not my problem, but I sympathize. Sorry for the inconvenience. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
