I just have a great interest in Japanese culture, though some is somewhat non-existant in modern day, and history. One of the recent topics of Japanese history I have been looking into was that Japanese expansion from 1895-1945 :p Japan used to be one of the larger countries as of 1942. I also study the unification of Japan.

But regardless all these wonderful things, let me tell you, they are VERY expensive! Some things I got cheaper in the states! Like anime, hah><; But, not the melon bread thankfully . . . there is one bakery near the train station that sells Melon Buns for 40 yen each! Good thing I have to walk everywhere or else yah, FAT in Japan . . . Orz |

This contradicts all I've heard about foreigners in Japan... I always heard that they appreciated us for respecting their culture and liking it enough to move there. My head is spinning...
They say that rules are made to be broken... Except Gendou's... Don't do it.

Yup, I agree! Japan is a nice country; but the expense of living is very high. I'd prefer to be a tourist than a resident. @dh86: I'm sure it's not that bad. I mean, they couldn't just insult foreigners like that; my relative used to live in Japan because of her work, and she's not a japanese. |

Japan is like a second home to me. I stayed in Fukuoka, Japan twice with the same host family and I love my okasan very much ^^ But even though I love it there, I agree that I'd rather go there as a tourist than as a citizen simply because I can't afford to live there :p Hopefully I get a chance to visit them again next time. |
