When you want to say seven o'clock is it sichiji or nanaji?

I dont want to sound like a mod, but there is a special forum for Japanese language discussion and requests, shitsurei shimasu ^^;

But anyway, the convention is shichiji, but nanaji is also used. personally i would stick with shichiji.

The other tricky ones are yoji (not yonji or shiji) for 4 oclock and kuji (not kyuuji) for 9 oclock.

1. As rokuemon said, use the correct topic! (I have fixed this).
2. Choose a more descriptive title than "help with japanese language" (I fixed this, too).
3. I never say nanaji, I always say shichiji. nanaji sounds like someone's nickname, not the time of day.

Okay, thanks. Sorry about the wrong post but when i looked at the japanese characters in the name, i thought the entire board was written in japanese.
