Xbox emulation
|
Does anybody know or have a decent Xbox emulator? A friend of mine created one but lost it and didn't back up his source code and doesn't feel like re-writing it. I do have an Xbox but it keeps breaking down so I would appreciate it if somebody could let me know about an emulator.
Please visit my message board, I only have 3 members now and I would appreciate it. It is at s10.invisionfree.com/the_world_2.

Janus, having an X-Box emulator, or any other next gen console emulated in your computer would just disappoint you. As far as I know Next gen consoles like that of what you are looking for has its own OS so getting your computer to load another OS while running your current one to get your PC moving would result to a very slow X-Box run of emulation. Though, if your friend somehow found out a way to make all the things I mentioned things not to be concerned about, let me know. |

The PSX emulator works as much as the console way back was just somehow a device that reads the CDs of the PSX games... These Next Gens are whole different matter since they have their own operating systems within themselves. Remember the interface the PSX displays when you have no disc in it? CD Player and Memory Card only right? The PSX only reads them. Compared to how PS2 Menu interface with those multiple options and more menus. It actually has more and its quite evident. That's the reason why its so slow. Man, that sounded weird.. |

Actually guys, I've been very interested in something like this as well... Seeing as I've got a powerhouse of a PC, and I'm going off to college and don't know if I can bring my XBox (or PS2) with me, I was wondering if anyone had seen emulators for either? I'd really still like to be able to play Ace Combat 5 while I'm at college....
Beware the quiet people,
You don't know their intentions
(small signatures are sooo much cooler since they don't annoy people trying to read through posts!) |

Wouldn't it be more convenient if you just brought either one..? Or both if you really like to shoot down enemy aircraft while pursuing a major.. then again, I think there is an alternative since, there's a place that I know that they modify both consoles to the extent of making them something like game-boy cartidges.. or (Number) in one.. If they can do something like that, maybe they have an installer or either consoles and since you mentioned you have that very equiped computer, another OS installation might just get you that Ace Combat flight while in college...? again, that sounded weird.. |

I'm searching also an XBox Emulator but I can't find a decent one. I just download a said xbox emulator from a site, but the problem is there is a bug when I run my roms that always crushes my system. |

I'm just going to say this once and once only..... There is no 100% working Xbox emulator and there won't ever will be since the console is well and truly dead. |

I wonder how solid xbox emulation is nowadays?; the boundaries are pushing into the wii u already; have only stuck with ps2/gamecube\beforehand. |
