i was wondering, gendou, if it was possible to have a counter just like we have for downloads and donations for the amount of songs each user uploads?? I feel very very bad for not being able to donate..>"< since i am underaged to own credit cards...and super poor!!! i feel really bad to see the number of songs i downloaded...yet not being able to donate!! I do upload songs when i have the time and if i actually have the songs requested to help out at least in SOME way... This was just a suggestion...but i know you are probably super busy with the stuff you have to fix and add for this site already! anyway... I love this site gendou! i visit it nearly every day that i can and it makes song searching sooo much easier!! Thanx for your great work!!

this question has been asked before. the answer is no. my reasoning is this: people will upload crap just to increase their uploads counter.

I was just thinking the same. You answer is understandble but if you're manually adding the songs you could just confirm a real upload and a upload point(or something) will be added to the one who uploaded. I also thought about having a column showing who uploaded the file... Well, do what you like, it's your site.. =) |

that sounds like more work for me, which equates to fewer updates. i think the majority of people would rather have updates than credit for their uploads, correct me if i am wrong.
