a domain is a group of resoures objects like servers, computers, user accounts in a company.

a website is simply...a website. take gendou.com for example, it's a website. and so is www.ibm.com and www.ubuntu.com.
a defination of website is the entire collection of web pages and other information (such as images, sound, and video files, etc.) that are made available through what appears to users as a single web server.

a domain is a name that points to an IP address.
a website is a non-specific term for a web page or group of web pages which reside on a server.
a server is a computer which has one IP address, and may be pointed to by any number of domain names.
typically, a website is defined as the web pages controlled by one person or organization.
for example, someguy.livejournal.com has his own website, so does thisotherguy.livejournal.com.
even though they are on the same server, people refer to them as two different websites.
gendou.com is one website, metalorg.gendou.com is another, which. for convenience sake, is located on the same domain name (and same server).
