Feynman Lecture Series....

Has anyone ever read the Feynman lecture series? I've heard so much about the Feynman lecture series, both his recorded audio lectures and the transcribed books. However, I never actually looked into them unill sometime last semester when I was looking for some help on my physics homework. I could only say wow. I was amazed at how much you could learn from simply reading Feynman's material. The mathematics were punctuated precisely enough for you to be able to focus purely on the physics. The mathematics itself was everywhere! And explained in the most precise and clear fashion! As a math and engineerig major (and math freak), I say without an ounce of hesitation, this is an absolutely brilliant author. However, as opposed to the taut authority some physics authors may declare a law or theorem, Feynman takes a much more humble air about his approach. Many times, he makes the statement that we actually do not know what is really going on in the mechanisms that occur. If you didn't have the oppurtunity to be experience Caltech's physics program (as I have not), but would perhaps like a glimpse of the beauty of physics, read Feynmans lecture series! i have all the Feynman lectures on physics on audio book CDs!!!! i listen to them when i go on car trips and stuff. maybe i should post them as a special download :D_ anyone interested?

I certainly would! That would be awesome! {:=D Yeah, I highly reccomend people check out Wikipedia's entry for Feynman. Its really interesting - I spent an hour just checking out the links and stuff.
