Nanoha - A Cute Yet Worth Watching Anime

I've got to say, Mahou Shojo Lyrical Nanoha (or simply Nanoha for short) is one of my fave animes ever! It's title translated into english: Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha. Yes, this anime is in the magical girl genre. Yes, the lead female (a girl named Nanoha) has a cutesy voice. Yes, she has a cute animal sidekick (who can change into a boy). Yes, she has a magic weapon (a jewel called Raging Heart that tranforms into a wand). And yes, there is an unnecessarily long transformation sequence in which the maigcal girl changes from her normal clothes to her fighting outfit. But amidst all this, this is still rather a good anime. Unlike the usual magical girl genre, the "magic" in Nanoha (the anime, not the character) is based on technology. But there is also the usual aspects, like the ones I mentioned above, and the fact that there are other worlds besides Earth. The fighting scenes are exciting and and fast-paced. You can't help but marvel at Fate Testarossa's (Nanoha's rival later turned good friend) fighting skills that make her cool and irresistable. Nanoha's skills also improve dramatically as the anime progresses. Frankly, the 2nd season entitled Nanoha A's is much better than the first. More enemies, and a nail-biting plot that surpasses the first season. I'm happy to say that a third season is on the works, entitled Nanoha StrikerS. ^.^ Please assure me that there are Nanoha fans out there too, besides me. =) so if there are, who's you fave character (from both seasons)? Mine is Fate! |

Its been a good first 2 seasons. I suppose if i had to choose someone it would have to be Hayate from season 2, season 1 i guess Fate. I hope Stikers will be good tho Nanoha's new hair style doesn really do it for me and the proportions of the characters look kinda off to me. besides that i guess well just have to wait and see next month. Also, outta curiousity, what was ur favorite intelli-weapon?  |

i hmm...i prefer Bardiche(fate's intelli-weapon) XD. also...anyone heard that there's gonna be a 3rd season? it's called Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS.it'll be airing in 2007 taken from wikipedia: Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha A's, aired between October and December of 2005. A third series named Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS has been confirmed, and will begin airing sometime in 2007.[1] There have also been corresponding manga series bridging the story and adding new elements to it, as well as CD dramas. |

| The first season was great. It's cute, bright and fun. But the second season was beyond imagination. Yes, it's cute and bright and fun. But it also has a very touching plot. I almost cried many times. It's so beautiful. |

@Chidori, from what i heard, yea, it's being released in April. but i'm not that sure of it myself. also...there's some who are complaining cause there's no more loli...(i think i read it somewhere in the animesuki forums) |

@kay-sama: Yeah, I got it from animenewsnetwork where it was said that the anime will be releasing soon!! XD And there are goin to be another 26 episodes!!! Really look forward to it =P

I must agree. Some told me in this forum that I should watch Nanoha...and i think it took almost 2 years for me to really sit down on this but it was worth it! It worth watching Nanoha. it's your ordinary magical girl. I liked the way they fight. Exciting. and the storyline is not really for little kids dreaming of magic like those other magical girls. hehe it's fun. I know stikers is coming. I hope it's going to be better. hehe. i'll be ablt to see my darling Fate T. Halloun again! ^_^ hope they still have a nice role in the series. (Nanoha, Fate, Hayate.)  ^_^v PEACE OUT! |

wow another nanoha thread it reminds me of my nanoha thread Nanoha Striker S plot was 10 years after the Nanoha A's so that means *checking the timeline* they are now on their 18 or something.... but they will have 4 new characters 2 kids and 2 teenagers let me look about my incompletedata maybe it can help.... --> |

@paandora9201- its ok i understand.... just like i said sometiems if you create a thread sometimes you forgot it.... but that thread was kinda outdated.... but thats ok we can exchange information anyways.... hey go to animepaper.net to look have peek on Nanoha pics form the 1st season up to the 3rd season ^^ I looked carefully at the title in japanese its Mahou Shoujo Rirical Nanoha i noticed that the on the Lyrical part of the writing in japanese has two letters that says RI Another Information of Nanoha actually this is another thread of Nanoha its outdated but maybe it can help --> |
