死刑! That's one simple, good sounding phrase... Let's call it one of my favorites for now... Anyway, Akatsuki, rather than japanese, that sounds more like korean... ![]() |

大丈夫 "It's alright" だいじょうぶ daijoubu I don't really know why, but I just love the sound of "daijoubu." I guess it's just kind of soothing, especially when a woman says it. P.S. My first post ever in the Gendou forums. 皆さん、始めまして。
Why does man create? Is it man's purpose on Earth to bring form to thought, to prove meaning in experience? Or is it just something to do when he is bored?

Hey umm, can someone translate "No Dice" into japanese for me? hmm, i doubt if theres an exact translation of this. It might depend on the situation. For example, if you try something, and it doesnt work it could "dame da" (no good, hopeless) or if you get refused something, you can say "okotowari da" (refused! they turned me down!). Are those any good? |

Is there an exact translation of the word "Dice"? If yes, thats good enuf =P But thanks for the help =) |

The Japanese word for dice is "saikoro". However the english word is prob used more often and in Japanese that is spelled "daisu". "No dice", literally would be something like "saikoro de nai", but that is not a saying in Japan like "no dice" is in English. It simply means there are no dice around. |
