avoid both. stick with C++ and OpenGL |

Have you ever programmed before? Making a full fledged game complete with graphics is a bit much for a first try if you ask me. Of those two choices I'd go with Java since I'm not a big fan of basic. How much time do you have?

i've learn programming before but that's a long time ago and i totally forgot about it since i never used it afterwards. i just want to make a simple game but enjoyable one. if you ask about time, i guest, 2 months.

Well good luck. You should start learning whichever language you pick right away, as making a finished product can be very time consuming.

Learning Java will prepare you for many other languages that you might later learn and will come in handy just knowing the syntax. C, C++, C#, PHP, JavaScript and more will all become familiar looking. |
