ummm umm ok so are any of the legens from wolfs rain based on real legens I would like to know so that I can do some reaserch/

I am not sure if it is but i highly dought that it is based on anything because 1. it is in the future and 2. talking wolves :) Now what would you need to research Wolf's Rain for any way? |

| Kind of interesting how the beginning song foreshadows the ending. I was disappointed in the ending too, though of course, not all anime ends happily which is what I like. |

| I don't think the show IS set in the future. I think it was set a parallel Earth. I am American, so I have read about numerous Indian legends and there are a few that involve wolves and mankind as being related. I think that when Kiba killed Darshia, the world was "reset" on a different path. Remember how the ending seemed very like our world now? The series has deep philosophical roots rather like The Big O. |

hmm I liked the ending, its very nice and different! it~s not predictable at all and the characters are really awesome... and it isnt boring or completely dull, it always follows the timeline and storyline.. Also love Cowboy Bbeop which was made by the same guy...but cowboy bebop's end could be different!!! =(
