Have any of you seen the mini series based on the book? I saw it and was amazed by how badly butchered the Stanley Kubrick version was. I liked the mini series because the sense of horror was better and the ending scene and twelve years later scene was a decent finish whereas the Stanley Kubrick version left you hanging and didn't show what happened in their lives after the time at the hotel.
