I liked Slayers Premium the best. Too bad it was so so so so short... Also, my sister is a rabid Slayers fan. I like it too, but I'm too rabid about Xenogears right now. I love Xelloss. He is SUCH a cute little jerk.

I've only seen slayers once, and that was the show. TO be honest I wasn't that crazy about it, which is weird cause its exactly the type of theme that I like (hardcore fantasy all the way) but if the movie is different then the show then I will deffinatly check one of them out then ^.^

I havent seen all of them but i like the story ,is interesting and funny. i also like the cute little jerk Xellos! although,the main char,Lena is quite annoying but she kind of fun looking and short.  |

Zany characters? Check. Ranma-style male beatings? Check. Stereotypical tomboy lead female and braindead male? Magic ala fantasy novels? Check. People blowing up stuff? Check. Good ole' slapstick comedy? Check. My checklist is complete. Slayers ain't for the philosophical anime watchers, but it will make you bust a gut or two. Xellos and Zel-sama are the two main reasons I watch the show. The third is that the English dub is pretty enjoyable. The VAs do take a little liberty with some of the lines, but that is to be expected. My favorite Slayers series was Premium as well. |

| Slayers was great.. Slayers next was good.. but slayers try suddenly became too corny for me to understand. There were scenes in that season that were so cliche. Sure the plot was great and the ending was a big bang, but there were parts in that season that I couldn't stand watching. =/ However, I'm always a big fan for the opening and closing songs of each season. "Give a Reason" by Megumi Hayashibara will always be one the best anime songs evah! |
