Anyone play M.U.G.E.N?

Anyone play M.U.G.E.N? For those of you that don't know what M.U.G.E.N is, it's a fighting game where you can get any characters from anywhere to verse each other, whether it's street fighter, marvel, king of fighters, even simpsons! It's a pretty crazy game. Literally it's Everything vs Everything, ironically thats one of the famous MODS of Mugen and can hold lots of characters. You actually download the characters inorder to play them. I have it. But it's weird and some of the characters are too powerful. Do u create ur own characters?  |

You can create your own characters by using programs such as Mugen Character Maker (MCM). You just import or draw the sprites of the characters and compile them into a .sff file. It looks very complicated to do. Yeah, I agree that some of the characters are too powerful, like Sepiroth from FF7, it's rigged he does his special which is a comet falling to earth and it KO's your character in one hit and it's impossible to stop. But those characters I don't add to my MUGEN to balance things out. Actually there's another way to edit your character's stats (e.g. attack damage). Just open the .cns file of your character with notepad or some other word program and edit the data there. There's websites that can provide help with MUGEN. www.mugen-infantry.com is a good website with loads of characters to download and you can post your MUGEN problems or FAQs there in their forum. |

| I did at one point, but many of the characters feel a bit unbalanced...so I kinda stopped. |

Get WinMUGEN at www.mgbr.net. Unfortunately, the actual company is no longer active, so there will be no more updates for the engine; just more creative coding on the side of the authors.
The end has come.
