Man, haven't RPed in public site for awhile now. don't know how things run around here, but here I go anyway. PLEASE PM me if I need to edit or something about this RP, okay? BUT PLEASE BE NICE!!! >_> Harsh critiques aren't helpful at all. ._. Since I love Death Note so much (L's all mine, yo.) This RP'll be about Death Note beginning to end, like a side story connected to the actual manga ---- RP Title: Death Note Setting/Time: Mainly in Kanto, Japan. Since Light Yagami and L are also located in Kanto, I thought it'd be easier to move and interact if all people are located in a close area. However, being clustered in one area can also make it easy for police to find out who the Kiras are, so in your bio write a sentence or two about what you'd be doing somewhere else with the DeathNote if you're not located in Kanto. Ex: Melle(example character) would be located in New York, USA. She'll be a DeathNote user with the job of eliminating criminals of US, while being chased by the FBI. Or you can be in Japan, but somewhere else. Like Tokyo. You can only be in USA and Japan, for it's gonna get too complicated if there are Kiras all over the world. History: Kiras' Sides Death Notes, delivered by hand from Shinigami, the death gods, begins to give human hopes of making a better world for future generations. People who are tired of their pathetic surroundings. People who believe that Kira is the solution to this world that is rotten to the core. They're the ones who truly deserve the Death Note, a gift only given to chosen ones who wants to make a difference in life. As rare as DeathNotes are, there are only a few who knows existance of the DeathNote, and fewer who have seen or actually used one. If you wish to help Light and Misa out in their quest to alleviate world of their sins, join Kira's side, and use the powerful Death Note to cleanse the world. Polices' Sides L's agents in Japan: As Kira became known little by little to the world, polices worldwide begins to take action. At first it was only two Kiras that seemed to exist in Kanto, Japan, but as days became weeks and months there were Kiras all over the planet. Japan must join hands with US again in order to eliminate these serial killers. Although the main suspect is Light Yagami right now, the second Kira's entrance also bothers L. But only a little. Second Kira seemed to be amateur, and foolish enough to let himself revealed sooner or later. Light, L's currently most likely suspect, never lets his guard down. FBI agents in USA: As L requested, US sends FBI agents to Japan, only to have all 12 eliminated by Kira. Devastated by the loss, the head chief of FBI refuses to send Japan any more agents, and cut all connections from the Kira case. However, as the "divine killer" begins to threaten even USA, FBI, again, helps out Japan. Even risking their own people's lives to find and trial the killer once and for all. ~*~*~*~*~* If you decide to take on Kira's side, please state so in your character's bio. If you decide to take on the police's side, please also state so in your character's bio. Character sheet for Kira's Side: (fill them all out) Name: Age: Appearance: *Has DeathNote? (yes/no): Obtained Shinigami eyes? (yes/no): Background: Shinigami's Name: Shinigami's appearence Description of Death Note: How did you obtained the DeathNote? (Fell from the sky, friend's influence, unwillingly abtained from a stranger, etc): Main purpose of using Death Note (To eliminate criminals/polices, get information, for your own profit, to help other Kiras, etc.): Levels: There are levels in Death Note wielders, because you can't just go killing off the president just because. Higher level means the higher ranks and numbers of people you can kill. Also, killing other Kiras are strictly forbidden. Levels are 0 to 10. 10 being the highest rank. A person of rank 10 knows everything about Death Notes, it's loopholes, rules, uses, and you also have the brain to plan out really far. After all, there are many enemies you wants you dead. I'd say Light is at about level 7. So you see how smart you'll need to get. Level 0s are beginners. They just got their Death Note. All they know so far is you can kill people by writing their names down. Some may even be too scared to use the Death Note in this stage. Every character starts with level 0, and you'll be leveled up after awhile, depending on your participation and your skill. *You can help without having a DeathNote, but you'd need to contact Kiras in a very private place. Or, the Kiras can refuse to show their faces when exchanging information with another who doesn't have the deathnote. Character Sheet for L's Side: (Please fill them all out) Name: Age: Appearence: *Obtained Shinigami eyes? (yes/no): Group (L, FBI, CSI, NSA, **freelancer, etc.): Background: Levels: Rather than levels, the police has groups. The groups' strength are depended on their knowledge of DeathNote, but also their agent's power. I'd say L's side is the strongest, however, because of their knowledge of Kira and the possible and most likely suspect. And later, Mello and Near's appearences will strengthen it even more. But for now, as the RP is based on near beginning of the story, L's agent is still superior, but is not totally advanced compared to others. But as this story is like a side story, the Kira's of America would also be equally advanced, though late in start. So for those of you who wants to be an FBI agent of USA, better try to catch all Kiras before Japan does. FBI: Similar to L's group CSI: Tries to find out things from dead criminals and clues to help FBI of finding Kiras NSA: Where Kiras get their information from by hacking. NSA also tries to find information about Kiras through informations obtained from other countries legal and illegal. *This is only available when your police character interact with a DeathNote wielder. If that's the case, PLEASE be descriptive and detailed about how your police character came to be in obtaining the eyes of Shinigami, because all the polices are against the Kira, and having the eyes means you have a DeathNote, and is one of Kira's Side. Make sure it's believeable. This idea was borrowed from an episode from Death Note where Yagami's dad obtains the Shinigami eyes ( Uh-oh, a spoiler. o-o better shut up now) **Freelancer is literally freelancer people who decides to help out polices in their investigation. In the manga, there are examples of freelancers such as Aber and Weddie, who are con artists and burglars who help solve the Kira case. If you wish to be someone like that, feel free to sign up your characters as such. Rules: THERE ARE ABSOLUTLY NO CHARACTERS WHO GOD-MODS OR BE MIGHTY AND POWERFUL. Never, ever, ever. >_< I mean, even in the manga, Light faces many obstacles. Near and Mello are getting too smarty warty these days, but that doesn't mean we can. Death Note users absolutly cannot kill other characters just because you have their names and face, and vise versa to police characters. Privately negotiate with the others to see if you can eliminate each other in the RPs. Once your characters are eliminated, feel free to contact me or comment again with a new character bio that you can use to RP. I'll provide informations on people currently dead so far in the manga, but as soon as Kira's Side get a hacker, he or she can provide imformations of criminals to Kiras. You are also limited on who you can kill and whatnot. The criminals will be labeled 1 through 10. Death Note users can only kill criminals of same level and below. You cannot use official characters in the manga. You can say you know someone in a way, but please don't put something like, " Light-kun was a best friend of mine since gradeschool" because that's really getting deep into the main story. ------------------------- Maybe I wrote too much. >_> Hm... Anyway, my bio. Use this as an example. Only one character per person! Name: Eris (Ery) Age: 19 Appearance: Long, white, bleached hair. brown eyes. (Think of Misa, but more serious) *Has DeathNote? Shinigami's Name: Rsyke Shinigami's appearence overall female shinigami with black hair and wings and clothes. Covered in icon-ical jewelries and has Rem-like long hair. Description of Death Note: Black with a little swirly designs at the corners. How did you obtained the DeathNote? (Fell from the sky, friend's influence, unwillingly abtained from a stranger, etc): From a shinigami. Main purpose of using Death Note (To eliminate criminals/polices, get information, for your own profit, to help other Kiras, etc.): To help Kira cleanse the world. ----------- There are several rules of death Note you need to follow. For example, there are only 6 Death Note users allowed in human world. Any more Death Notes will not take effect. Also, if two people writes one person's name down, the first one will take effect unless it's .06 difference. If that happens, it's conidered simultaneous, and the person will not die. If you have any questions reguarding the death note, please ask me directly on here, messege, or use it in the RP to find out. Police groups K Xy Jered Since my character is a DeathNote user, I can't participate with the police's side. Maybe I should allow people to have two characters. One for each. -__-; That way, all can play. D: Well, if you like the idea, please say so. Leave a quick reply about it. Yes or no. I thought of it and...the police side has no choice but to interact with L and his groups deeply, for they're working with him. So it's alright to use official characters, but please let them stay in their original personalities and don't abuse them. Sure, you can have a conversation with L, even when he's connected to Light, but only when the situation allows you to. Be sure to read manga for details. Also, let them die in the originally intended death, not by your characters. |

Shinigami's Name: Kazuya Shinigami's appearence: male shinigami with black hair, black wings, red eyes and clothes(like Ichigo's bankai clothes in Bleach). Description of Death Note: Black with a dragon designs at the corners. How did you obtained the DeathNote? From a shinigami. Main purpose of using Death Note:To help Kira cleanse the world and help Eris to accomplish her goals.

(yes/no): no Group (L, FBI, CSI, NSA, **freelancer, etc.): L Background: Rarely show his face in public and if he does, he'll always be disguised as another person. Be it a woman, an old man, someone from the pastry shop, anyone. He's neither here nor there. Although he managed to solve only a handful of cases, his diguise techniques are proved useful when the time comes. Obtained a small piece of the Death Note while investigating the Kira case and kept it with him eversince. |

He had known about his parent's 'work' and the actions they have done to obtain their riches. He detests all criminals for his original family was killed in a robbery of his home. Shinigami's Name: Romulus Shinigami's appearence: A Black cloak. Never seen inside of the cloak (Imagine a Dementor) Description of Death Note:A black thick book with the kanji for "Dark Heart" in Red ink at the front and a scyte at the back. (yes/no): no Background: considers himself to be highly intelligent because of several programs he was placed in during his childhood. has very good insight, and sometimes he decides with his heart rather than his head. there are few people that he'd want dead, which are just his enemies. very careful with using the death note. Shinigami's Name: Renovatio Shinigami's appearence: humanlike in appearance except he has a masklike face (like a jason mask). wears a ragged dark blue jacket and has long downward black hair with bluish tips. Description of Death Note:Blue and black. How did you obtained the DeathNote? (Fell from the sky, friend's influence, unwillingly abtained from a stranger, etc): Took it from a friend because I thought it looked cool. Main purpose of using Death Note (To eliminate criminals/polices, get information, for your own profit, to help other Kiras, etc.): For my own gain. but I'd also likee to help with the whole kira thing EDIT:what!? one whole day and no one has posted anything!? cmon, lets start! Rp should be started now. So...let's start. o__o Let's start from a near-beginning, where L is first introduced to the public. -- TV: "we interrupt your programming to bring you an important message from the ICPO. This is being broadcasted all over the world.." .... "Unbelieveable...I did this on the off chance that you would kill m-" *blip* Eris turned the TV off as "L", the new nemesis of Kira remarked Light of the prisoner's death. "Foolish," Eris giggled softly as she jumped on her bed, "Kira is so foolish. I guess he couldn't think straight for a sec..." Eris opened up her laptop as she looked through the police records currently on public and those of classified informations she recieved from others. "let's see...Hm, Lind D. Taylor... Yeah, I guess he isn't in my files either." Eris hummed and rocked back and forth on her bed as Ryske floated beside her. "BUT WHAT ARE YOU GONNA DO NOW?" Ryske asked as she loomed over. "I dunno." Eris just smiled and twirled her long, silky hair around her finger as her phone rang. "Hello?" She answered. |

Rico is observing the procedings at a large TV at a city square. '... very sharp... this L...' He thinks as he looks around. People were muttering to each other, discussing on what had happend. "eh... kid, what do you think of what happend there?" asked a drunk guy to Rico. "I think that this guy, L, is very smart. He immidiately pointed out that Kira is in the Kanto reigon." Rico said as he observes the drunk man. "Eh? he did?" said the drunkman. "Sir, what is your name?" Rico said as he takes out a notebook. "Kento Murui." said the drunkman. "Ok... you'll die then." said Rico as he finishes writing down something in his notebook. "What? what was that kid?" Asked the man. "Kento Murui, attempted robbery and rape of 3 women and a girl." said Rico as he walks away. The man then dropped dead. The police later gone to the scean after a bystander saw him. The police never thought of foul play for he was already drinking, so they assumed that he done other things. " You are smart, Rico." a Shinigami said to him as he walks away from the dieing man. ".... of course." Rico said as he walks away with his head down, hiding his smirk...

"This is just in. A man who seems to me Kento Murui, the serial raper, has died of a heart attack just moments after the ICPO announcement. The ICPO remains quiet of whether it's related to Kira case or not. More information will be announced on the 9 O'clock news" "Ehh~? Another murder~?" Eris yawned lazily. After a short chat with her friend, Eris had decided to take a walk outside, just to hear the news about Murui's death on the displayed TVs, "Hmph, all the people other than me gets to have the fun." "SO YOU THINK HE DIED OF NATURAL CAUSES?" Ryske asked "I dunno. Seems like it. But you did say there are other Shinigamis with Death Note.. Plus Kira is having fun with L right now. I think right now he's too preoccupied with L to think of a mere raper." "THEN YOU SUGGEST ANOTHER DEATH NOTE USER?" "Well, I sure haven't written any names down for a long time now. Maybe he just died of old age! He does looks ugly. Bleh~" Eris strolled down the street a little ahead of her Shinigami, "Let's go Ryske~ I'll buy you an apple~" |

"Yes, i saw the news. No, i didn't kill him. Wanna meet up somewhere and talk or just hang out?" Hatsuharu said to Eris over the phone. His shinigami Kazuya appears in his room and looks out of the window. "..SO YOU WISH TO SEE YOUR FRIEND WHO IS ANOTHER DEATH NOTE USER? THATS FINE.." Kazuya said to Hatsuharu.

"The police is smarter than you thought." Commented Romulus as he eats a pear. "The style of attack is simmilar of that to Kira's, so it is to be expected." Rico said as he looks out to the sky from his porch that is attached to his room. The room is furnished lavishly. It is a royalty's room. "What are you going to do now? Search out this... Kira?" asked Romulus. "No... his mindset is too unstable for an alliance from him. Killing another is not to the weak hearted." Rico said as he goes in to his room. "A game?" asked Romulus as he hold out a PS3 controler to Rico. "Not today, I still have to list some of the criminals into the Death Note." Rico said as he sits down. "Besides, I also have to finish the Quadrilatic equation homework that my tutor left me...."

Ryske asked, "DON'T YOU THINK YOU'RE MAKING YOURSELF TOO VULNERABLE AROUND THESE DAYS?" It's alright, Ryske." Eris smiled, "I didn't do anything wrong, right?" -- Meanwhile: 23 more Japanese criminals have died. All death happening at an hour apart. Several days later, 3 more ICPO agents resign. 327 American criminals currently dead. suspicious movement from US continues |

What was that?" asked Romulus as he watches Rico sit down on a chair tired looking. "..... the FBI of the US is mobilizing on a unknown motive into Japan..." Rico said as he opens up his PC. "...... that is bad.... those FBI people are really sharp..." Romulus said as he stands up. "The advantage that I have is that they don't know that there are other Death Note users around the world...." He said as he goes to a messenger and did some codings. "Time to contact one of them...." He said....

K:*thinking*tch...more died...but 327 criminals dead in america in just one day...this is ridculous...and most of them haven't even been sent to court to confirm their innocence or guilt! *looks through some documents* K:...but...this is strange...it all started in Japan...then i spreads around the world like wild fire... |

"SMALL STORE BESIDE OOO MARKET, I KNOW THE FASTEST WAY THERE.." Kazuya said to Hatsuharu. "Lead the way Kazuya" Hatsuharu answered, "Well, lets go" "YARE..YARE, FOLLOW ME..." Kazuya said then once they exit the house leads Hatsuharu towards the small store. On the way, they spot some gangsters beating up a boy in a alley. "..We should help him" Hatsuharu said, "Hey you guys, stop that.." "Back off kid or we'll beat you too!" The leader of the gangsters said. "Back off and let you get away with that? I'll have to disagree" Hatsuharu said to them with a smirk, "Bring it on" "You asked for it kid!Get him boys!" The leader said. The gangsters attack Hatsuharu but he evades and picks up a thin lead pipe. "I am very adept at Kendo.." Hatsuharu said, "Now, prepare yourselves!". He evades & blocks their next barrage of attacks but gets hit once in the jaw then calmly takes out five out of the six gangsters. "..Tch!!What are you kid!" The leader said then starts to run away but Hatsuharu takes him out. Hatsuharu wipes his slightly bleeding mouth clean then helps the boy up. "Are you okay? Report them to the police" Hatsuharu said to the boy. "I'll be fine, thanks for saving me oniisan. Sure, i will." the boy said, "The way you took out those gangsters was cool by the way" "Your welcome" Hatsuharu said with a smile, "Thanks.., I gotta go see my friend. See you later and bye". Hatsuharu and Kazuya leave the alley and continue on the small store. "YOU COULD HAVE JUST USED THE DEATH NOTE YOU KNOW.." Kazuya said. "They weren't worth it" Hatsuharu answered, "Besides, i can't just use the Death Note on anyone." "GOOD POINT, THAT IS CORRECT" Kazuya said then leads Hatsuharu to the small store beside the OOO Market.

Rico rised up from his chair and stretched. "How was your meeting with those three?" asked Romulus as he watches Black Cat. "Good Shinigami, Black Plauge, and Silent Death has agreed to shadow the FBI agents. You know the usual protocol. Don't engage, don't interferem don't kill them using the death note, and stick to the objectives." Rico said as he takes up a manga and started reading. "... So, what are their objectives?" Romulus askes as he looks on the anime, where the main character is moving at high speeds towards his target, a corrupt politician. "Main is to find out who Kira is, that I am sure is the main reason the FBI is here. They are not to engage him though. The Secondary is to lern the identity of L. I have a hunch that this L guy is the one responsible for the swarm of FBI agents in the country...." Rico said as he smirks when he saw a panel where the main character, Kirio, looked on with a blank face as the title character just shouted 'Please Pilot me! Pilot me right!'. "... You know, I think you are right...." Romulus said. ".... Well, of course, with excellent private tutors that my scum for parents hired to teach me, it is hard not to be crafty..." he said as he continues to read the manga...

Rico is now on town, armed with a SIG Sauer P230 for immidiate emergencies (AKA Situations where the deathnote can't be used). Romulus also decided to come, having nothing better to do.
