problems downloading

| I've tried to download a couple of songs for the past week or so, and every time I try, the download won't complete. It'll reach a certain point, then just stop downloading. |

how big are the incomplete files? are you following the download directions in the FAQ? did you try clearing your cache? do you have a slow connection to the internet?

The incomplete files are about 6.42MB. The download freezes around 1.11MB. Followed the directions. Cleared cache, and that didn't help with the problem. It still freezes up, and the download goes nowhere. No, internet connection is high speed cable. |

is it the same size for all songs? which song are you downloading? nothing too funny looking in the traceroute. try downloading again today, if it still cuts off, try again late at night, when there are less than 400 people online. sorry for all the trouble, but you are not the only one who has mentioned this issue, so i am anxious to get it resolved.

It's no trouble at all. I appreciate the help. I tried again just a few minutes ago, and same thing. I'll have to wait 'til late Friday night since I can't really stay up late tonight since I have to wake up early for work, but I'll try again then. |

the forum loads a lot faster though, doesn't it? have you had this problem with any other websites? are you able to upload large files with no problem? are there any songs (perhaps short ones) that do finish downloading for you here?

Yeah, the forum is loading a lot faster now. Haven't had any problems downloading any other webistes. I was able to download several anime episodes earlier in the week, and a couple of manga chapters as well. I did have a problem downloading a song somewhere else though. It was a yousendit link a few weeks ago that wouldn't finish downloading. I tried a shorter song just a few minutes ago, but the same thing happened. |
