My school has finally gone overkill preventing us from going on aim and flyproxy using abtutor. I need one of two things either just a way to stop it or b a way to mask my ip address while i go and mess with some admin stuff in the network.

how about you try using the school computers for homework? there are plenty of web proxies out there, all you need to do is a quick google search. as for AIM, you can always use AIM Express (online java-based client). if they have the ports for AIM Express locked down, you theoretically could try running Gaim on your at-home Linux box and SSH in to use it. Did you said they are using AB Tutor to block proxy/AIM access? It doesn't look like said software has firewall capabilities, so they are probably using a separate piece of software as the firewall. If you want to block AB Tutor from the computer you are on, just block ports 5150 and 5151 using hosts.txt :) |

Another online alternative could be Meebo which is similar to AIM Express, only it uses AJAX and supports many different clients. |

hey yeah about using the computers for school work i would love to but I'm suspended for 3 days for mapping a network drive and I have a 2 week technology suspension. So any ways to stop abtutor or just give them problems let me know.
