Konnichiwa!!! Anyone here read or watched Angel Sanctuary??? Thank god they FINALLY translated the manga!!! I only read vol. 1 but it's sooooooo good!!! I cried sooooo much in the OVA!!!! GAHHHHH!!!!!!! It's was only 3 freakin episodes!!!! While the manga has around 28 volumes!!! WHOA!!!

| I saw the 3 episode anime quite a while ago. It was pretty good despite the whole incest thing. I got kinda interested towards the end when the main guy, Tetsuna is his name I think, stabbed himself with that knife so he could go rescue his sister. |

| I thought it was horrible, I only have one episode and I haven't dared watch for more than 2 minutes .. It's like Xtv, only worse :( |

Ah... this series. Angel Sanctuary is one of my favorites. I have own the dvd and the first two volumes of the manga. Oh and the main character's name is Setsuna Mudou not w/ a 'T'. Anyways, despite the incest there is a lot more behind all that if you would just research into it. There are a few sites i know of that would give away elements to the series but it would also make you understand why Sara and Setsuna love each other the way they do. And it would also help for you to see why Alexiel wants to much to kill Rosiel. http://www.geocities.com/organic_angel/frames.html there that should help. just cut and paste.

Angel Sanct is my favourite manga, but I can't bear the anime. The books are so much better, and you don't have to bear Sarah's horrible voice! It's "only" 20 vol., not 28. And there's much more in it than just incest.

Angel Sanctuary is indeed, one of the best anime/manga out there. Although I only have the two translated volumes out so far, I am looking forward to the rest. The anime could have been longer, like, alot longer, and they left out important characters but, I think it got the main point across. And for people like me who are, in fact, yaoi fans, Kaori's Yuki's tales are indeed for us! Her art is exquisite, and she has also done Count Cain, Boys Next Door, and many more. I hope they get translated! And if anyone has ever heard the music for the show, it is also very well done, with a creepy aura that fits the show very well. Overall, I give it a 10.

Setsuna is pretty lol, but you cant find Angel Sanctuary any where, so it kind of sucks

Oh yes, I do enjoy Angel Sanctuary. I saw the anime and am reading the manga currently. I'm gonna start reading Volume 6 at some point. Hm. The manga is infinitely better than the anime since it goes on from where the anime stopped, with Setsuna risking his life to go and save Sara. I really don't know why people go 'eww, incest! This is no good!' So what? Setsuna is reincarnated anyway so if you are looking for a way to overcome the 'sickness' of incest then just think that it's reallly Alexiel, or something. But that would sort of defeat the purpose of getting into Angel Sanctuary, seeing how the love between Setsuna and Sara is the driving force. And I for one am glad that someone out there is brave enough to tackle such a taboo like incest and make you see beyond the physicalities of genes and see it for what it is. Love. Anyway, Kira is hot. I wish he was in the manga more, LOL! I wish the manga had delved more into the Kira-Setsuna relationship. For those of you who've read it you should know what I mean. I don't want to spoil too much for anyone else, afterall. And some more points of the manga... there's too many fricking characters! LMAO! Reading it for the first time it's mind boggling and tough to keep track of who everyone is and what their status in the Hierarchy of the different worlds are. Oh... and Zaphkiel also rules. What the hell is it with priets in anime anyway? They are all VERY unpriestly, LOL!

Incest galore! I love incest! if you're finding me wierd then tell it to Kaori yuki! both of us find incest interesting! They beat the crappy soap operas on tv, makes you want to cry, and makes you feel sorry for the twins! I only read Angel sanctuary because of all the incest in it, but when I read the first 2 or three manga, i fell in love with the whole story and not just the incest! I've never watched the anime yet, so I can't relate to that. the graphics are superb! all the details makes you want to cry!! same goes with the storyline! it defines what true love is! other than love, there's all those gore and angels. it's a must read manga. I haven't seen the anime, so I can't recommend that

I haven't read the Manga but I have watched the 1st of the 3 movies and I have read so much about it off of different websites. I LOVE IT! The story is so interesting.  |

kaori yuki is amasing one. and angel sanctuary is his master piece. i like kira sakuya, raphael, lucifer, and michael.

the fallen angel? the one i like from the fallen is lucifer-san. i don't like the other fallen angel, like mad-hatter, or leviathan, asmodeus and other. (but in some ways, i like aztharot) but i do love the angel, shuteki na!

| Love Angel Sanctuary XD It's a deep deep obsession that somehow managed to last er...4+years XD Haven't seen the anime though..heard that it sucked ><;; Kaori Yuki's art is gorgeous!!! ^^ And there is so much character depth...the only criticism I have is that toward the final few volumes, the story line seemed to fall apart...or maybe I was just too confused lol XD Time for the 5th re-read! XD |

I love Angel Sanctuary! (all of Kaori Yuki's work also) The OVA was alright, I just love the manga. I think that if I didn't read the manga I wouldn't like the anime- but since I did I like it... The soundtrack is wicked though!! I love to listin to it when I read the manga! I <3 Luicfer/Kira, Zaphikel, & Mad Hatter.

Erhm.. I also cried during the OVAs... (^//^;;;) The artwork was so beautiful that I had to find out what the story was about! ※ Unfortunately, there are no anime episodes other than the 3 OVAs... at least, that I know of. But I wish there were more, because I love Koyasu Takehito as Kira Sakuya!!! (♥_♥) |
