Yeah, I have the first dvd. It depends on the type of thing you like. I personally wasn't all that impressed with these episodes. Hopefully it gets better or I'll drop it and just watch it on [adult swim] later this year. |

I've seen it, I like it. I think its one of the best fighting-type animes. But yeah I can see how some people would like it, others wouldnt. You can dl it form Anime-Kraze, but you should by the dvd

| It's a nice series ^^ Well.. the story might seem random at the earlier episodes, but later, it all fall into each of its places ^^ The fighting scene is not bad, actually, it was one of the best I've seen since the beginning of the year ^^ The seiyuus for 3 main characters performed well too ^^ |

I don't want to over-hype you about it, but it's a pretty good anime. Although...it's not like it has a super genius plot, or is so emotionally packed or anything. It's just some good, light, action. Well, atleast episodes 1-13. The plot doesn't really pick up until afterward. |

I've seen the series 'till the chapters 17-18... It's pretty average, I don't like the plot (still haven't happen something very important in relation with it, they are like independent episodes) but the action scenes are the best: REALLY EXCELLENT, like Cowboy Bebop(it's the same director). I think the show is now about to reach the development of the plot, or I hope so.

From the creator of Cowboy Bebop, watanabe created yet another great masterpiece! Samurai Champloo is slightly different from your usually samurai anime; i heard from a forum that champloo actually means "mix" explaining the difference in the style and art of the series. I enjoyed watching every single episode of it! The entire series is now complete up to 26 episodes!!!

Loved it. wonderfully drawn and I loved the music. It was different modern age type. I haven't gotte na chance to see all the episodes. I onlyh ave DVD 1. Lacing in money...oh joy...

It's great if you love violence. People say it's a anime verison of "Kill Bill" but i think it's 100% better.

its kinda disappointing>>>>>>Spoiler!!! the samurai who smells like sunflower is Fuu's father who dies in the end because of the shouganate.. there is no specific ending it is submerged and left hanged when the three decided to be seperated in the end. they just walk...walk...walk and that's it the end of the story... i hope it has some ova or movies for the conclusion..

| I just ADORE the background music in Samurai Champloo, you know, the hip-hop sort of quality with bits of funk, sort of leaving you with the beats stuck in your head for the better part of the day. I just love the characters and how you sort of become attached to them from the very first day...though, Mugen is my personal favorite throughout the anime. One of it's more fantastic qualities is that it doesn't rely heavily on somber drama of their journey, (the "tagging" episode is pretty funny, as is the "baseball game" episode...hahahahaha...) I just loved this anime, and hopefully there will be more from the creator....yay! |
