| Hmm... well, my favorite romance genre manga is probably Salad Days. It's a collection of short stories and some of 'em really touched me. I'd definately recommend it to anyone looking for a good romantic manga to read. |

I second the "Salad Days" recommendation. It's really an excellent collection of love stories that don't always follow the romance cliche in most mangas. Other suggestions (complete series) I might add would be: I"s (by Masakazu Katsura) Video Girl Ai (by Masakazu Katsura) Rough (by Mitsuru Adachi) Miyuki (by Mitsuru Adachi) Parallel (by Toshihiko Kobayashi) Ai-Ren (by Tanaka Yutaka) Ichigo 100% (by Mizuki Kawashita) ... and more, if you want... All the above are shounen mangas, but if you want shoujo choices, let us know :) - T |

Mars is really good. It's kind of old, but it's only ten volumes. Some other ones I like are Kare First Love, Sensei!, Good Morning Call (kind of for younger people, but still cute), and Sora Sora (really short, only one volume). Uh, I can't remember the Japanese title, but there was another one! It was made by the manga-ka who made Marmalade Boy (which is good too).

- Open Sesame - Parallel - Pastel - Love Hina - Salad Days - Kannaduki no Miko (yuri + a lil bit of mecha) - Pretty Face - Good Morning Call - A.I. Love You - I's - Wataru Yoshizumi's works - and many more... That's it all bout romance. As a symbol I can be incorruptible. |

I like these love story manga I"s Video Girl Ai Suzuka Ai Yori Aoshi Hana Kimi Full Moon Wo Sagashite Ichigo 100% Beauty Is The Beast W Juliet Marmalade Boy I have more...but I can't remember them...hehehe...maybe because it's on the computer and not the actual book...there are quite a number of good one shots as well... |

i dont read loads, rather watch. but been looking through briefly and was attracted to: HOT GIMMICK! definitely. it's hilarious and it;'s a romance manga...bahahah...how i laughed! fruits basket. kinda long and still on going, but so far so good
