Midori no hibi: Manga or Anime?
Link | by imppy on 2006-09-01 06:31:11
I actually watched both manga and anime of Midori no Hibi (midori days), and I think both were great! But I prefer manga better since there are a lot of things that the midori ni hibi manga has than in anime...but there are also some in anime that cannot be seen in the manga.

Usually, the manga is just short but very fantastic (eh, and there's a bit of nudity X_X)

You can download the manga here, and tell me what do you like better.

I've seen about half of the anime and read about half of the manga. I like them both even though the anime did leave a lot of stuff out. But up to where I am in the anime, it doesn't seem like anything they left out was anything important.

there IS one episode that they left out from the manga, the part where Seiji gets to dress up like a girl (haven't saw that in the anime, neh?) O_O;;

o ive always wanted to watch this anime! i want! well, i think anime is better for me cos i love animation and it moves! although maybe the stories in mangas are much more explainatory and has more elements, the anime i think should have enuff substance to keep the story plot moving. so i think anime is better, but this is w/o comparing the elements in story

The anime ending left me with a rather "blah" feeling. I was expecting it to be more romantic. I got more of a friendly vibe between Seiji and Midori. Gah, I think the manga might be better.

Manga. It's funnier.

A lot more stuff happens in the manga... Specially concerning side-characters like Kouta, in the anime they seem to "forget" he has a crush on Seiji (the chapter when he dresses like a girl is hilarious XD), the Makinohas don't even exist (okay, they're pretty much useless to the story, but I lve Nao =p) and Lucy doesn't show up (I like her T__T).
I think the anime is pretty good as a light comedy, but the manga is a lot better.

manga midori no hibi is quite intresting at first buti think i got boring after chapter 20 and so on. maybe because i've already watch the anime version which end at 13 series, and the story does not seem to attract me anymore. i love the anime much better

Well, the anime ending was pretty sad, but the second to last chapter in the manga was such a tear jerker. I don't think that if you read the whole thing, it would be impossible not to cry.

Whoa

The manga's waaaay better than the anime. Besides character development, the sheer funniness of the manga remains unbeaten. I mean, characters like Kouta, Nao, Takamizawa etc. don't look almost as good in the anime as in the manga. Plus, I'm still drooling over Ayase and Yukari in the colored title page of Ch.22 XD.
