Anyone here who knows UC Gundam? From all gundam universes, I still prefer the UC universe. It may be old but it's the original were the concepts and the stories are contemporary to the genre. Finally an UC Gundam thread. Sadly, i think only a few people know about UC Gundam, lolz. Anyway i'll accompany you here. What, we're going to talk first? 0076 Odessa would be a good spot if you would explained it to me, i only got a scratch of what the Zabi family are doing back then. First of all the killed the famous Zeon Daikun and blamed the Earth Federation. Our infamous Casval take a new profile as Char A. to escape assassination which took his father lives. The first MS are deployed, mostly Zaku I and many other variant. The Earth Federation Space Forces are defeated by the Zeon and earth governments are divided into 2. The first colony drop ends the war and a truce is signed. Peace is arrived both in space and earth, but this won't take very long. Everyone is preparing for the upcoming battle; hence it's an arm race for both sides. Thus Gundam is born.

Welcome aboard. We're still waiting for everyone else to gather up, it'll be fun if more people are coming to this thread. Care to explain a little about what UC Gundam series you liked best? For info for those you don't know. UC Gundam is all consisted of most classic Gundam Series which uses UC Calendar. speaking of Blue Destiny...i like it's exam system. sometimes the system obeys the pilots and sometimes it goes beserk and destroys anything. |

@rematche The EXAM unit was developed by Chlust Morses, who believed that Newtypes would eventually dominate Oldtypes. He put all of his hatred of Newtypes into the EXAM combat system, along with the soul of Newtype Marion Welch. The EXAM system allowed for incredible performance, but it was extremely unstable. Since it was controlled by the tormented soul of Marion, it would sometimes go out of control and attack allies, or refuse to move. The EXAM System of the Gundam Blue Destiny is also like the Zero system of Gundam Wing although the "Zero System," which allowed the pilot's mind to interface directly with the Gundam's combat computer. Although the exact nature of the Zero System's operation is unclear, it appeared to operate by "sampling" the pilot's thoughts and, combining them with current combat data, presented the pilot with various alternate outcomes. Thus, depending on the pilot's mood, the Zero System could tell him/her how to achieve total victory... or decisive defeat.

EXAM system differs in some respect than the Zero system. In the Gundam Wing basically, the system put all the combat data and situation into a single display consisted of enemy that are considered threatening from the most until the least. The pilot only needs to pull the trigger. What makes it achieved so much destruction is that the pilot is bombarded by threatening data of all things that can endanger the MS. It's just like seeing a knife, a fork, or even a spoon as threatening to our lives. In time it will make the pilot lose control and fail to determine what unit is really a hostile and what is not. The system alone don't control the MS and add nothing more to any firepower whatsoever to the MS. While the very nature of Zero system is only a system, EXAM system is far more complicated. In fact it's able to control movement and even bypass the command from the pilot. It's like piloting MS that's live in some degree and can refuse the pilot from time to time as well as able to do the ultimate performance of the MS.

Hmm.. what about ALICE system. In the GGeneration Series it was described as superior system than the EXAM system.

Then ALICE also using some tormented souls of poor newtype? or some jackass from TITAN just copy paste the EXAM system and upgrade it, lolz. So few infromation about the ALICE system other than it was used in the Sentinel Gundam.

alice is an artificial intelligence system that assists non-newtypes to perform perfect combat results and also alice was made to learn and act like a human in order to function with it's co-pilots. just like in the final story of the sentinel gundam, alice use it's full potential to remove it's pilot from danger and self sacrificing itself to end the war. |

Hmm... After hearing that, i would like to add ALICE system into my MS, lolz. ALICE also able to perform Funnel attack/defense warfare, it's indeed a good technology to support the non-newtype pilot. Anyway, any comments about the RX-78 II GP01? I mean, this MS is superbly detail as we can see in the design book or sketch book.

I like the UC universe too... by the way RX-78 II GP01 is good but i prefer the F91 gundam it looked cooler to me.(F91 series is in the UC universe too right?) |

yup...the f91...probably one of the rarest gundam. with it's biocomputer, it can turn newtypes and non-newtypes into a perfect soldier. |

GUNDAM~ Gundam wing Gundam Seed Seed Destiny All are nice animations. Simply awesomes. Pretty much wish to own all the models but it's pretty expensive too. But seed destiny is making the show more boring, with nice types of gundam model and some unnecessary editing. But overall is nice=)  |

Let stick to the UC Gundam. Hmm.. there are also the Gundam series from F90 series. I believe there are F90 I and F90 II, while the one Seabook Anno piloted was the prototype of the new one, the F91. Both the F90 I or II have a lot of customization. I like the F90 II long-range-type, it's really cool. In fact it was my first gundam model, scale 1:144.
