 Samuel L Jackson says, "THAT'S IT! I HAVE HAD IT WITH THESE MOTHERF***IN SNAKES ON THIS MOTHERF***IN PLANE!" Yes, snakes...on a plane! Have you seen this movie? What, you haven't? THEN DROP EVERYTHING RIGHT NOW AND WATCH THIS MOVIE! I saw at Evo2K6. It was the best movie I've seen in a while, and not in a "What's eating Gilbert Grape" best kind of way (best movie ever), SoaP is the best in a "THE MOST ENTERTAINING, LAUGH OUT LOUD HORIBLE AT THE SAME TIME STILL THE BEST MOVIE EVER" kind of way! It even stays good through the credits! I don't really know what to say about it, so ask away, but I would HIGHLY recommend taking your best smart mouth freinds and turning the theater into your own personal Mystery Science Theater 3000! The movie is fun to watch, fairly scary, yet in no way serious, pokes fun at itself, has a TON of fan service and fan-cult service, including the fan-written line, "THAT'S IT, I HAVE HAD IT WITH THESE MOTHERF***IN SNAKES ON THIS MOTHERF***IN PLANE!" The theater went APE-S*** when he said that! I have'nt had an experience that fun in a long time, and very rarely at the theater anymore! But be prepared for: Snakes biting people's...um...can't say here... Snakes eating little annoying dogs! Snakes that think like Macguyver! Lines like: "A snake bit me on the ass!" "Praises for Playstation2" And of course, the music video for the movie at the end, best cult song ever! |

I just saw it today. It was hilarious, just campy horror fun, similar to those crappy 80s movies. It's gonna be a cult hit kinda thing. People should watch just for that one amazing Sam J. line! And the SoaP music ain't bad either. Well, all in all, a good summer movie, if only a bit overhyped. Seriously though, curiosity alone will malke people wanna watch. And the Dog Toss is hilarious, as is the Nipple Bite. |

What is so scary about snakes on a plane? Step on them and they die. Slam them in a door and they die. Hit them with luggage and they might not die but they'd sure as hell leave you alone. I've seen the music vid, and that girl in it really bugs me.

| Hype makes me not want to see a movie, and this movie is not hype at all, in fact I had no idea it existed until my freind suggested it. I could'nt believe it was actually about snakes on a plane, I thought it was metaphorical! We had to see it to see how bad it was. All the cult stuff made it even better and give you a new film experience. |

I think the movie is quite really unrealistic, however unrealistic with sense fascinates me, I'll to scan...and maybe watch the movie itself.        |

I saw the movie and thought it was great because it knew what it was and ran with it. It didnt try to be all serious or go off in some crazy direction. It was snakes on a plane with Sam Jackson and in the end thats all that mattered.  Japanese girls love Darth Vader...... |

It looks like a great movie. I heard a news report that someone let loose two baby rattle snakes in a theater full of people during a showing of Snakes on a Plane. That would seriously freak me out. I have to see this movie though.  |

At first when I heard of this movie, I thought they were trying to milk not only the concept of shock value but of Samuel Jackson's badassity (ha, new word). You know the concept of snakes...ON A PLANE really didn't draw me in, but I'm glad it did. It was a pretty entertaining movie and I'm glad because a lot of the newer movies are basically like cancer on cinema's ass (bad analogy but it gets the point across).
You need a reason to be sad. You don't need a reason to be happy. The secret to happiness is to face the fact that the world is horrible.

@Lucifer, the whole movie's about an assassin trying to kill a murder witness under the protection of Sammy J. The witness needs to take a plane to LA from Hawaii. The assassin then plots and places several hundred planes onboard the flight before anyone boards. At 30,000 feet, a timer releases the snakes and chaos ensues. Then, around 85% on the way through, Sammy J. utters the best line of the summer. |
