Concerning Hazel Grosse...

Is Saiyuki's Hazel Catholic or Jewish? I'm just asking because in the manga he's called Bishop, a Catholic title, and wears clothes similar to a Catholic priest, but his pendant is shaped like the Star of David, a Jewish symbol.

| As far as I've seen in the manga, Hazel is in fact, Catholic. I believe that the pendant he has did not originally belong to him (I could continue, but there are spoilers involved, so...) |
