I was greatly surprised to find no Akira threads, except for GitS Vs Akira (?); this is the greatest anime of all time IMO. Here is an awesome Tetsuo cosplay pic  DUHN! DUHN! (gong) So, what are your fave scenes? Got any fun facts? I prefer the old 80's dialogue, with Leonardo from Ninja Turtles as Kineda! Also, my fave scene is when Tetsuo stops the shell with his mind, and the people are all, "Akira has come to lead us!". Also, is it true this anime was based on a book, not a comic? |

Hey I love Akira! Cool pic BTW Anyway, my fave scene is the one where Tetsuo forms a new metal arm with his mind! SO COOL! As for ANYTHING you'd ever wanna know about Akira, click here: NEOTOKYO is about to E-X-P-L-O-D-E Follow the links at the bottom for more stuff. There was no Akira novel, BTW. It was a 2000 page plus manga first, then a anime film, and a possible live action film in works. |

I took a picture of a Kaneda cosplayer at Anime Boston this year. For some reason, I had a feeling I would see at least one Akira cosplayer. He's my favorite character, too. When I took his picture, he screamed "TETSUOOOOOOOOOOO!!!".  |
